Saints vs falcons pre game, in game, post game thread. Block punt = touchdown edition
Wheres my euro saints fan at????
Drew brees going to own that ass today you failclowns
Breesy G needs 453 yards to hit that 5k yards season mark.
Had he not missed that Panthers game he would be the leader by yards.
>People say he is washed up
>Mostly Saints "fans" say this.
He is our QB for at least 2 more years. Then Grayson takes over.
Eh, last week of vacation from work... Been sleeping a lot.
Nye was meh, i wasnt feeling it all day, or night.
Got to hang with gf though, so thats alright.
Saints W would make the week nicer, thats for sure.
>it's a 'They can't stop our run' game
>It's another "Matt Ryan is out of sync" episode
I honestly don't know how I feel about this season. That losing streak was inexcusable. We should be in the playoffs easily, but we wont be. I can't remember being so frustrated watching them wed I was during that losing streak when it looked like no one gave a fuck.
I've been around just only in gamethreads
>what does another losing season feel like m8
an anomaly lel
See what happens with a bit more roster turnover but Freeman looks like a great young RB so that offence should be fun as fuck moving forward
As many shitty calls as the Ravens had against them in games in the first half of the season I was genuinely sick watching them hand the Packers the game @ Lions with that personal foul at the end
The Lions played it terribly only having 5 guys in the endzone but still it was such BS
Go to the Varsity and get the chili cheese dog
Go to the GA Aquarium
Go to the Westin and go up to the Sundial Restaurant
Go to Philips and watch the Hawks
Go to Little 5 Points and eat at the Vortex
Go to the Fernbank Museum
Shitty WRs seriously drops everywhere even when SSS was healthy and the secondary took ages to get in sync
Every games was so close before getting destroyed by the Seahawks a few weeks back. Its been a shit but entertaining season
Lawson is awesome, and he shared snaps 50/50 with Beasley during his senior season. Lawson is a power edge rusher with good burst and speed. I'm all for missmatching edge rushers, they do it in Seattle a lot.
We have niggers, no lie about that. not anywhere as much as the 90s though. All of the hipster liberals are moving into the city now. If it wasn't for all of the blacks that came here from Katrina, we'd probably be more similar to Charleston or Charlotte.
>My face when only 90 more days until I get along with Atlanta fans again.
Beasley has generated tons of pressure this season, but he's literally the only one. He is 22nd in the NFL in pressures generated. He has 3 forced turnovers.
I know we were all hoping for instant John Abraham year one, but shit doesn't work like that.
tfw no italian gf to cook me pasta Al dente with pesto, mozzarella, olives and tomatoes
Sportingcharts is great for stats.
>A hurry is considered to be an important statistic for defensive lineman, almost as important as a sack, stuff, or forced fumble.
b-but muh sacks
I mean sacks are needed too, but sacks are typically the result of the breakdown of the offensive line in more than one place. Clean-up sacks are a very real thing. Typically, you have the speed rusher get them off the spot, then the other good pass rusher clean up. Problem with the Falcons is, Beasley moves the QB off the spot, then they just run away from Beasley because Brooks Reed, Adrian Clayborne, and Tyson Jackson get stonewalled.
This is the play I was talking about I went nuts when I saw this live. If sombody could make a WebM of it I would love you forever
K. When is atl going to learn? Didnt thry read the game thread edition today
>brees drops back
>drop off to rb/te for huge gain
Lol indeed...... man i hope we btfo Of these fucking clowns
>brees drops back
>right side breaks down because beasley has the RT on skates
>steps left where Reed/Bierman/Jackson/Clayborne pathetically attempts at rushing
>dumps it off to the left side
Ryan hasn't been shit this year he's just not a top 10 QB
What did you say again . I have a ringing in my ear.
The Ravens are playing why are you in this thread
>tiny interior line good for zone read but can't hold up in pass protection
>route trees are literally drop back see if Julio is open then scramble if not because the line can't hold up
You need a black quarterback to run Shanny's scheme. I'd rather just get rid of Shanny to be quite honest family.
>Who are you going to root for in the playoffs
Literally nobody. Love watching the Seahawks and Cardinals play so one of them winning the owl would be slightly less painful than any other team but that's about it
>there are people who think AFC rivalries are better than Fatlanta vs. New Poorleans
>tfw we will have the best RB in the division for future
Feels great familia
Because Matt Ryan plays in a cake division and has Julio Jones to throw to
He's not a top 10 QB here are 10 in no order that are better
Stopped right there.
>they'd be a 11-5 team next year
kek they had a cake as fuck schedule this year and will be lucky to get 9 wins. Lets see how they do next year when they aren't playing the NFC East or AFC South
I was just listing QBs that were better I wouldn't leave Rivers off an actual top 10 list
also yea I was wrong about the Raiders winning the division last year so what lel I also thought the Ravens were winning the owl this year but look how that turned out
Just like your chances of ever winning anything.
>Saints salary cap
rip in penis 2016-2020 playoff hopes
>You now remember Junior Galette
they don't get paid anything. i used to work with a former falcons cheerleader though, she was fucking gorgeous.
Everyone's a critic. You sound like women. Stop having such high standards, in the REAL world and is at least 7.5-8.5/10. Deal with it.
Nah senpai i want them in. They are two of our rare good defensive guys.
Nahh ill still post occasionally in NFL generals.
Will be there for draft too.
This fumble tho. Bueno.
Mmm nice little ass :3
at least an 8.5. keep in mind shes in her early 30's if i remember correctly.
I got banned for this one as well for 7 days, go figure
Holy fuck, hes literally trying to brand himself and create his own memes. One of the worst games ive ever heard announced. Matt millen needs to be introduced to Julius bulge down his throat so he shuts the fuck up.
Ragging on the defenses. Only 17-17 midway through the 4th. What the fuck is wrong with these idiots.
That ass cant be real.
Sidenote: Prone bone is the best next to doggy when the chick has all kinds of ass.
>Hoping knee is down
EDIT: It was not a fumble for fucks sake.
>Does nothing but run down the field
>tfw you get a flag for jogging over to your teammate
>team mate runs down field to help block
>It's a "Falcons stay in the game only to lose in the end" episode
This episode is getting really fucking old
I never thought I'd question if hes the future, but you at least have to consider it. Maybe tskr a waiver in the draft or a free agent to push Ryan more. You just can't play like this and not expect there to be repercussions.
Got a better draft pick out of it. Not like much else was on the line.
>tell people 4 years ago that Matt Ryan was never a good enough quarter back to get the falcons to and through the post season
>all sorts of hate from falcons fan
>same hate the cowboys fan give over tony romo
>tried to pretend he was the same level as brees
Three straight seasons without a winning record. Falcons fans, at what point do we begin seriously questioning Matt Ryan? I made a lot of excuses for him in 2013 and 2014 because there were a ton of injuries and inexperience. But going 8-8 against this weak-ass schedule and getting swept by the shitty Bucs and Saints is unacceptable.
I'm willing to put some of the blame on Shanahan, but Ryan also made a number of atrocious mistakes that a veteran QB should never make.
Falcons fans with Ryan are beginning to remind me of UGA fans who made every excuse in the book for Mark Richt. It was always the fault of an assistant coach, injuries, bad luck, but never Richt's fault. With certain Falcons fans, it's never Ryan's fault either. It's always the offensive line, the receivers, injuries, or the offensive coordinator. At what point do we look at the common denominator?
For the record, I'm not saying Ryan needs to go. But I'm saying he needs to be put on notice that he has to start playing better.
There's always pride to be had, even in the difference between a 8-8 and 9-7 season, or in an extra win in the head-to-head record.
Rooting for a loss for your team is like being a little shit that takes his ball and goes home because things didn't go his way. It's disgraceful.
If you get your pride from sports teams then you have bigger problems.
He was fine in the past two years despite no running game, an O-line out to kill him, and, once Julio was injured that one year, no one to throw to. Not saying Ryan didn't play like shit this year but it was something you should have expected after Shanahan was hired. He has rode on his father's overrated coattails his entire career despite consistently failing and following the same track record of fast start burnouts everywhere he has been.
>If you get your pride from sports teams then you have bigger problems.
It's not quite the same as real pride. It's sports pride. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then I'm not sure why you'd be a fan of any sports team.
Entertainment and because I want to see them win meaningful games. This game had no meaning since they had already been eliminated and a better draft slot improves their chances of putting together a better team to win meaningful games in the future. Whatever pride you felt about winning this game today would have been forgotten in a few days.
>Whatever pride you felt about winning this game today would have been forgotten in a few days.
Regular season and head-to-head records are forever. Every game is "meaningful," you shitter.
If you're this shit at being a sports fan, go hop on a bandwagon where you belong.
>I prefer bragging rights over putting together a good team
>Anyone who wants to take advantage of the NFL's shitty draft policy is a bandwagoner
