Welcome to 2016. Are you ready for the biggest sporting event of the year?
Brazil, I've been reading the news. I know how deep in the shit your country is.
So if you fuck the Olympics up, know that we'll invade your country and put white people in charge. Consider Rio 2016 your last chance.
last 4 olympics I've watched as close to everything as physically possible. for the 2 weeks all I do is wake up before the broadcast starts and watch until it's done for the day. I love watching even the sports I don't understand just for the olympic atmosphere. Though I've gained basic understanding of pretty much everything. Only thing I have trouble being entertained by is sailing
I do the same for euros and WC even though I don't typically follow football. Last WC's I've watched literally every game (they show the simultaneous deciding group stage matches after one another with no spoilers for this purpose). I really love the big tournament atmosphere and stories they create. I use vacation days for this, for me 2 weeks of dedicated sports watching is more relaxing than any trip or other use of vacation time.
>mfw Copa America and Euro in the same year
>where do you want your olympics senpai?
I can't really fathom having to live with such a lack of sporting culture
>divegrass every day
what a pathetic life
>I can't really fathom having to live with such a lack of sporting culture
That's more than the casual faggots that watch the Olympics once every 4 years and start moaning about football
Putting sailing on Guanabara Bay is criminal. That water is untouchable. You can smell phosphate and see the live eutrophication just outside the airport.
They should move the event to cities nearby. Angra dos Reis, Parati, Búzios, anything.
Olympics sucks m8, i watch NBA and Rugby (and woman field hockey). Btw, i will watch Olympics but Euros are more relevant
