no, its not false, you're just misinterpreting the term "hard". The act of catching a football is not hard, and getting a touchdown mostly comes down to timing and, as you said, working with your team. There's also way more touchdowns than homeruns in game, as well as way more catches than there are hits. Your post literally couldn't be any more wrong.

Individually speaking, hitting a baseball is a buttfuckton more hard than catching a football. I've played football and baseball before too (albeit baseball at a way higher level). Most baseball players probably could run a route and catch a football thrown by a pro QB, but I'd bet most football players couldn't hit a ball thrown by your average AA 16/17 year old midget pitcher.
