You can post 8Mb images, with size 10000 x 10000px and you can post 5 images per post.
I should like it more but it just feels too much. Somehow I have come to like some of the limitations here.

I'm practicing excel for my new job I start tomorrow and used an idea an ameribro had awhile ago to award points down to last place throughout the season.

- how do I assign a certain amount of points for a specific result? i.e 30 points for first, 25 for 2nd.

- what sort of points system should I use? Before I used 22 minus result, but Rosberg ended up beating Hamilton that way.

This is a shit method but it works

In the table in the links I posted in >>55419258 if you click on the points column you will see a massive set of vlookup formulas which reference the table on the far right which is points for each position.

Basically the vlookup formula will lookup the finishing position in the first race for that driver in the reference table and return the corresponding points value. It will then do the same for the next race and so on while adding them all up. That leaves with the total points for that driver.

This allows you to change the point system quickly and easily.

I'll make a diagram if my shit explanation doesn't help.

All you have to do is make the same (position/points) table like I did on the right and copy that formula into the correct cell.
You should just be able to drag it down for the rest of the drivers and it should work.

If you want to change the point system just change the values in the righthand column of that table on the right and it will change automatically.
I have it set to 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 this gives Hamilton a total of 153.

I work for a consultant and we have clients who are local government and councils and we end up having whole organisations and departments who don't know anything about excel.
Like no one in the department for education in a local district knew excel. They saved all their data in either hand written form or word documents.
All the sensitive data on children (name, DOB, full address, school, year group, disabilities, pick up and drop off time, the bus they take) was in filing cabinets

I asked how in fucks name they sorted anything and they looked at me like I was an alien.

We had to have copies of the data so they ended up taking pictures of all the pieces of paper and sending them to us via email.
None of the emails were encrypted, none of the files were encrypted.

If someone got their hands on that, shit would have hit the fan big time.
