they're only french because they live in france

If you've ever lived in major French cities, there's a major african/colony influence in the poor areas. The kids in the poor areas don't really have great futures ahead of them and would rather play football than go to school.

The concentration of football clubs and players is heavy in these cities so the kids that are good get noticed. Lots of players, constantly playing and wanting to play, with the good ones getting scouted early. Perfect recipe for youth football.

No one is asking you to watch baseball.
