Will he be remembered as a coach more than as a player?
Doubt it. Well, maybe by people who did not watch him play.

Tell me about Arjen, why does he cut inside?
Does he ever cut outside? Does he even know how to cross?

Can anyone tell me how do expansions work? Do they make the stadiums taller? wider? How do they manage for the pitch to still be perfectly visible, or does that suffer after an expansion? Because I can see the weird architecture fluff they add on the outside but I don't see how does that make more people fit inside.
Just thought about it and I realized I really don't understand, I thought they wouldn't make it too big because fans wouldn't be able to see the game properly but maybe they don't really care about that
Quite often they'll move the pitch 90 degrees and ultilise more efficient seating layouts on the new stands.
nice question urubro, had that same question for years, never really bothered to look for an answer
>>74244052
can seating layout efficiency really make that much of a difference? Still, the 90 degrees thing is fucking brilliant
>>74244091
Sure - move the aisles to better facilitate ingress and egress out of the seating areas from the concourse, and have them spaced in such a way as to maximise the number of seats in a row before it gets too annoying to get from the aisle to the middle of a row.
Another consideration is the angle of rise from the pitch, as you can fit more rows in at a steeper angle than you can a flatter one, which also has the advantage of improving the viewing experience for those higher up.
The PDC convoy has come to Yorkshire as Leeds becomes the third stop on the Betway Premier League tour with three compatriot clashes.
Starting tonight's affairs is the Worlds semi-final repeat and an all-Scottish match with Gary Anderson and Peter Wright. Clownman secured top spot in the UK Open Order of Merit by winning the final qualifier on Sunday but will have to seriously improve on last week's atrocious showing against Michael van Gerwen if he is to beat Gando who had very little trouble in defeating Jelle Klaasen.
The all-English clash sees ferry loving fat man Adrian Lewis against bipolar James Wade. Snackpot was typically inconsistent but it was more than enough to thrash terrible Dave Chisnall while the Machine rescued a 6-6 draw against the Stokie's mentor; with Wadey having won their last meeting in the Champions League in September, revenge will surely be on Aidey's menu (along with numerous Just Eat orders).
El Dartico follows as the aforementioned mentor Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld clash for the first time since that glorious Worlds quarter final that saw Pheel get Taylored with an 86 on the red button by Barney. Taylel's victory in the 2016 play-off phase ended a run of six failures to beat RVB in the PL, but here's hoping Ray does him in again.
The Dutch derby sees the bitterest of rivalries resume with MVG and Paedo Suarez. Fresh off becoming just the second player to hit 2 9 darters in a match in the UK Open qualifiers, you can be assured the autistic one will want to kill the guy that sent penis photos to his family friend. Watch out for Sky completely ignoring this genuine #NEEDLE because they are pussies.
Closing the evening are two men in serious trouble as Chizzy plays Kim Huybrechts; dim Dave has won just 5 legs so far in two dismal performances while the Belgian has repeatedly bottled it and picked up just one point. Whoever loses is probably relegated already.
Coverage starts from 7:00pm UK time on Sky Sports 1.

In ranking major news, the UK Open field was confirmed following Sunday's final qualifier: http://www.pdc.tv/news/article/11tmvg0ep9wx21bse1k22rnia3/title/coral-uk-open-field-confirmed
The most notable omission besides Taylor is Mensur Suljovic, who had to miss all six qualifiers as his pregnant wife has fallen ill (which makes his decision to tell Uncle Barry to fuck off with his PL bullshit even more justified). Get well soon, Mrs. Suljovic.
Some of the more notable amateur qualifiers include 2004's Alex Roy, who continues his streak of having appeared in every single UK Open, and three men who graced Lakeside this year: choking stutterer Paul Hogan, Barnsley's answer to David Brent - Brian "Doggy" Dawson - and Welsh jobber Dean Reynolds, who turned down the offer of a PDC Tour Card after topping the 2016 Development Tour Order of Merit to chase valuable ranking points around the shitholes of Eastern Europe. Based on how Reynolds choked at Lakeside against Pip Blackwell, it's no surprise he chickened out of competing in the PDC.
