Alaska thread. Is there actually anyone else from the anchorage area on here? If so, we should meet up somewhere and do the Alaskan thing and get trashed.
Used to live there. I miss it. Especially the skiing.
Bump, I've been thinking about moving there. What's it like? Employment? Not just Anchorage.

Oil my nigga. Heroine is a problem especially in the more remote areas. Cheap to live but cheap wages unless you have some essential skill.

Used to live in Anchorage, was banging a hot Filipina milf with huge knockers
>>23327695
Cheap? I thought everything was fuckoff expensive
Are there really a moose patrol?
>>23327640
It is more expensive, especially rent in Anchorage. Paying $1400 for a two bedroom apartment right now. Gas isn't horribly bad anymore, $2.15 a gallon right now.
Most jobs pay more than their lower 48 equivalent, even your shitty gas station job is $11/hr. Drugs aren't too major of an issue, but the hobos have recently gotten into spice. We have a ton of homeless drunk natives here. And yeah, there's been a moose patrol since the state was founded and their horses died of the winter cold.

Just hearing about Moose Patrol. Are Moose good riding mounts? Do they have different problems from horses?
Nevermind I just looked it up. Moose Patrol my ass anon thanks for lying to us. Shit sounded cool as fuck
>>23328203
It's a real thing. The confusion comes from the fact that we started using the Alaska native word for moose, that sounds a lot like horse. Eventually we started calling all moose horse and call horse equine. It's why when Sarah Palin (who we all hate) rode a moose as a campaign stunt it didn't get in the news, because the reporter was using the Alaskan word and it didn't make any sense why didn't a horse would make a good campaign stunt.

C'mon anon that pic looks fake as fuck. Type in moose riding and it says it doesn't exsist. You almost had me.
not cool :(

Dude op isn't lying. Type in Alaska horse riding and you get all kinds of results. Like he said, horse means moose here.
