Skinnyfat reporting in. I know i look like shit. What is best route when starting to lift? Should I just try to gain weight and bulk or cut off the fat I already have first? Im 19 btw

Hey mate! I'd probable prefer to cut until I'm satisfied, and then bulk up from there. Go for a push-pull split. I'd research that routine for quite a bit, and make sure you focus on form a lot. Good luck!

at your level of skinnyfatness you absolutely can lose fat and gain muscles simultaneously (and quickly). pic related is me some years ago when I was looking like you and I started lifting seriously. diet on high protein and focus on compounds movement that work glamorous muscles (chin ups, dips, bench press) is my shortcut to decent mode.

Just want a back rate. Recovering from nerve around the L5-S1 so i've had to start working my back out differently and it's the only thing I want feedback on.

best way to start lifting is to just go in the gym and do it. If you don't have the motivation to start, you won't. It's that simple.
I'm NASM certified for personal training so I'm very biased on the second part of your question.
this is how I teach by. The stabilization part corrects any kind of muscle imbalances you have while preventing injury when you move onto the next part of your goal.
looks like you have some muscle to you, definitely covered in bf. so if you decide to lose some fat, do interval training with intense cardio exercises. don't do long term jogs.
look at the body of a sprinter, then look at the body of a marathon runner. That's why.

yes cubby, I have a bit of extra fat, chubby doesn't mean overweiht like how most people use the word these days
I wouldn't even bother, I already get told I must have an eating disorder just because I lost a lot of weight and watch what I eat. They can all go fatlogic themselves into a heart attack for all I care. I feel 100% better than I did before and thats all that matters.
