I have no idea what my eye color is anymore. Dated a guy who for a year thought my eyes were brown. Always thought they were just hazel, but friend pointed out I might have heterochromia.

They do kinda look like damage but they aren't actually a problem or a result of problems, my vision is pretty much perfect. My mother's eyes are solid brown and my father's are solid blue. One of my brothers has similar central heterochromia but as far as I'm aware none of my siblings have the brown flecks. I guess it's just some weird genetic fuckery.

I haven't taken a photo with quite this much detail before, and I notice the flecks are on top of rather than part of the rest of the iris, which I hadn't noticed before
