Is anyone else here sick of the perception that New Orleans is the be-all, end-all of Louisiana, and that the rest of the state is a gator-filled swamp full of toothless rednecks?

Sure, New Orleans is great, but there's lots to love about the rest of the Boot State, too.

Besides New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and maybe Lafayette, the rest of the state is pretty fucking boring. Central Louisiana is pretty fucking empty, and North Louisiana is basically just Arkansas and also pretty fucking empty.

I used to go regularly to Baton Rouge last year. About once a month. Yall have an awesome city. I'm looking for an excuse to go back.
