Probably one of the smartest profiles I've seen lately. Not because it's some literary masterpiece or anything, it just keeps in mind all the major points of selling an idea on F-List, particularly brevity. Despite not going on for pages and pages, I don't feel like I'm missing out on any major information about the character. It's a simple enough concept, expressed plainly and succinctly. That's probably the best thing any profile can do: make its concept and intent clear quickly, so the potential reader can quickly know whether or not they're interested.

The only major revision I'd make is to split that one paragraph into two for ease of reading, just so you're not hitting the reader with an 11-sentence-long wall of text when they open the collapse.

Either way, I would be all over this profile.

Not really too bad. I mean, I don't know much about the setting, but when you've got a cast of like two hundred characters, it encourages people to fill in the gaps and create their own. It's like Pokemon trainers or Metal Gear freaks or Jedi. There's a lot of space to make up new characters, provided they aren't just recolours or dominating the originals.

I usually have such good fight scenes that have a degree of planning or generally flow really well. But this one was a pain to get through on my end because she left so little for me to do in reaction. I think she as a partner enjoyed it, but for me it was an absolute struggle to plod through, and I'm usually pretty resourceful.

One recurring partner I have is awesome at fighting, and we always know the end result ahead of time because of how her character is designed (i.e. she's constantly in the nude or close enough, and capitulates sexually or even with lewd touching).

The idea should be that, rather than saying "X punches Y in the face," you go with "X throws a punch at Y's face," which gives Y opportunities to respond accordingly. You throw out leads, and your partner chooses how to act upon them. You don't wrench an arm free; you apply your superhuman strength to the pinned limb, and the outcomes from there ought to be fairly obvious... but not 100% written in stone. This is why it's good to know the general trajectory of the brawl in advance.

It's bound to come up as a part of organic chatter in the channel, and I don't think it's unreasonable to let that happen (it'd be equally weird to shoot down the MGS5 or other video game chatter that comes up in the room sometimes), and sometimes the rest of the channel (not just players) engages with it too. But if it gets to be too much, or otherwise bothersome, just say something. If you're not comfortable with that, IM me and I'll poke people. It's already a concern I often have, so I'm on the lookout.

And if any of the others bitch about you asking them to move it to another channel, I'll slap the shit out of them, because that'd just be inconsiderate of them. But I think they'd be accommodating.

Things like this are why I think it's a good idea to treat most scenes as if they're entirely separate timelines/etc. There's a lot of good, potentially sexy ideas that become a lot less interesting after the shock/novelty of the first encounter. Yeah it's not really clear, this is a total first draft.

The idea is there's all these kingdoms and hers is the most well off and prosperous, and the wizard grew and lived in an utter craphole. So he always wanted for love and peace and strength and the like, and become a bitter, furious bastard that wreaked havoc just to spread his sorrow.

He falls before the might of Gracemeria to the king, Leofric, himself, who is not without pity, and listens to the man's tale. Which is how the dying wizard pulls off his spell.

Godiva is someone akin to Helen of Troy, but not to the point you'd wage a war over her. She's famous as a beautiful queen, that sort of thing.

So, he lusted after everything Gracemeria had; the peace of the land, the might of the king and his army, and the beauty and love of the queen.

Ultimately this all was to justify the character walking around in her underwear; I started the concept with the images.

If it works anything like the various MU* that let people play canon characters, you would have to stake a claim by writing a description of said character, and get approved by an admin.

The slot is freed when you stop playing, or if the admins decide you're a shitter, so that someone else can come along and stake the claim.
