If you're not confident about your self my best advice would be to fake it until you believe it yourself during the date. Trying to be as relaxed as possible and it's OK to make a joke here and there as long as it's not totally lame. Be nice but don't be a total of the fedora wearing white night because girls don't like that. be a gentleman but be kinda..."rogue" about it? I've been in a relationship for 4-5 years, I think the biggest thing when it comes to making first impressions as a male is to not show you're as hyped about it as they are. Selfesteem and confidence portrays as experience. Desperation and trying too hard to make it work just shows you're not in the lead.
Depends on the girl ultimately though.
