The only thing I can think of to work through the toungue-ness would be linguistic exercises, I was qutie the mush mouth as a child until I was forced into speech therapy.

Nowadays you can find a lot of these exercises online for free. Its very tedious work but if it matters to you then the payout can be massive.

I think the tongueyness is only audible over mics anyway. My phone has 2 mics so I changed it to only use 1 on these recordings, and now it's not as noticeable. I think it's my actual voice that's annoying. Can practice really help? My brother has more or less the same voice but he learned to sing, and people call his voice annoying too.

Yeah I was trying to sound more like I usually do, but I was reading and not talking so I was saying it the way I read it. I was much more nervous before, recording for 4chan for the first time. Like I said I have a phobia talking into mics and on the phone so I try to be natural while recording it but it's never the same. I'd have to start recording before a conversation and forget that I'm recording.

I'll look it up then, should help with the anxiety too. Talking on the phone makes my voice sound more monotone and nasally I think because of the low sound quality, but getting nervous definitely makes it worse.
