If your beard gets pubic like that, just keep it shaved to a lengthy stubble, like 3/16" or whatever the next size up from that is on your trimmer. You don't need a lot of length on your beard for it to fill in your jaw and balance your aesthetic. With a cowlick like that and such a prominent forehead I definitely wouldn't go long on your hair, you don't have the jawline to back it up. Short and low, a bit like Daniel Craig styles his hair, would suit you - he also has a big fucking forehead, but you could open a beer on that man's jaw so it evens out.
