Great idea, OP!
OP, you cheater. Also, really good album.
Sounding really good.
Outrageous! How dare you just call upon my name? Do you not have any consideration?
fuuuck, forgot to critique the one above me!
SFTD is my favorite Queens of the Stone Age record by far. I think Homme is one of the best modern guitar players right now and the drums on that record are fucking monster.
He just wangs and doesn't afraid of anything. The story between him and Devil is fucking heartbreaking. The album you posted is just plain raw, emotionally, in one of the best ways. Though it didn't power out the bass or rythm which is really nice.
it makes me think about someone I lost who was very dear to me
Yeah I know, it's pretty basic. But it reminds me of the one summer I spent with a girl I liked, probably the happiest point in my life.
Going to go with favourite current album, because I can't pick an all-time one.
Tame Impala - Currents
Kevin Parker creates a fucking ridiculous masterpiece on this album, completely composed and performed by himself. The album details the emotional roller coaster that one feels when going through a break up, and once you listen to it closely, you totally feel it. So fucking good. Gonna go put this on now.
Holy shit, posted one of my favourite albums of all time. Good lord I love In Rainbows. I'm so sad I missed them when they toured this one! So good. Couldn't even give a favourite, been listening to Reckoner a lot lately.
Good album. I recommend Oh Wonder if you haven't already heard them.
In Rainbows just feels like such a warm, welcoming album. I can't get enough of it. Also, Currents is a damn solid album. I didn't like it as much as Lonerism, but it was a pleasant surprise.
I only say basic bc I feel like it's probably their most accessible albums. Most diehard fans would say that either OKC, Kid A, or Amnesiac are better.
This album is fucking beautiful man. I've heard of Daughter but this the first time I've listened to this album. Thanks for bringing this into my life. 8/10
