Union square is dope. The hazelnut donut is probably my favorite.

My favorite straight up donuts on their own merit though are Holy Donut in Portland. They're pretty simple but so fucking good. Sometimes I think about making the four hour round trip just get some but then I realize that's retarded.

little bigs is a super cute hole-in-the-wall type place run by a couple, when my partner and I first started going there it was basically just a kitchen with a like baking shelf of finished stuff and a little table set up with a cash register though they've renovated with a counter and some seating and paint, they have different savory hand-pies as regular items though some sell out earlier and they mix up their menu with different donuts and pastries
