How can I take stuff less personally?

I'm gonna be more specific. Not too long ago I got removed, without prior notice and without a good reason, as a contact from one of my accounts, by a person I met here.

I know that meeting people here is kind of a gamble. You never know who you're going to meet, etc. But it's actually pretty damn difficult to deal with rejection like that. I hardly go out of my way to meet someone, I barely find people I can connect with, I don't even get a warning or anything and they just leave. My heart ends up clenching. I do want to meet someone ideal, but this stuff makes me not even want to try at all, and worse, I do feel resentful.

I also believe that I did nothing pushy, clingy, or that would otherwise step over their limits, I'm super conscious about that up to the point that I'd beat myself if I noticed that I did.

The fuck I do? What am I doing wrong?

Oh and if you just say "get over it" I'm gonna ignore you, I'm asking for practical advice and insight not buzzwords.
