A multiverse is merely smaller parts of the universe. Everything is the universe. You could even have pockets within the universe which are separate from each other and be infinite (multiverse). The word "multiverse" mean "multiple together" and universe means "combined into one". Thus, no matter how many multiverses you have, even if they are infinite and not interacting with each other they are all a part of the universe.

Completely unwanted. No, there are not multiple universes. Universe means everything. Anything able to interact with our universe must be a part of the universe.

The idea that there are "infinitely many universes with infinitely many possibilities" contradicts the idea of cause and effect.
