I'm really slow to learn college math concepts in calculus and linear algebra, and also struggling with computer programming.
Seems like a low IQ.
Are there ways to become less retarded?
Yeah, I don't know man. It takes me like half a day to get through a chapter with a few examples, and by the time the first tests start I'm considerably behind.
Should I take up a job sweeping chimneys instead?
serious question, how comfortable are you with middle school algebra? not even the graphs and "find the y-intercept" shit, but the basic, bare bones algebraic operations and manipulation of expressions/equations.
if you can do them in your sleep, you should honestly be fine, just keep working at the calc/linalg. if not, then there's a definite problem to fix.
You need to keep practicing. If you're seriously struggling to the point that you're failing, then you need to backtrack a little bit and master the lower level stuff. Don't call yourself retarded having low self esteem won't help you either.
