Silicon dioxide + sulphur + the heat of a thousand suns = still doesn't burn
I'm calling hax on your sulphur thermite
>>7802702
forgot to include aluminium
>>7802704
Why did you use any sulphur
>>7802716
the silicon dioxide would just react with the magnesium and not the aluminium without the sulfur and so i did some digging online and found this post:

What magnesium
>>7802734
you need high heat to start the reaction so I used magnesium ribbon
>>7802740
Why wouldn't that work with just aluminum
>>7802744
>what is an oxide layer
>>7802748
Lol no
Just use some good old fashioned NaCl

I guess the sulfur compounds does that. Fun thing to do for bonfires: get lots of hair from a hairdressers. Many will want "contributions" to bonfires for midsummer and fifth of November.
Just make sure they don't remember you.
