Pretty interesting topic right here, being a PP fan this thing brought heavy storm of questions and deep thinking about this. What do you guys think?Am i the only one who thinks Jan Sloot was murdered?
The fact that one of the brightest CTOs of 90's funded this idea?Do you really think they would bother with this guy if they didnt see it in action?Every single floppy disk disappeared after his death, if this guy had a chance to to sell this to philips or just release it ,we would look at the world way more differently then now. People would compare this person to Tesla as this this kind of discovery would change everything.
It is really hard to back this up as i have no valid arguments but this is pretty interesting topic, just imagen how this would help NASA or any big scientific experiment/company and most importantly humanity, turning such a big amount of data in something so small makes you think about it,what if you could scale it on even more?
Anyone can be fooled by a scam. Anyone can make stupid decisions. Roel Pieper is not infallible. He has in fact made several failed businesses.
>Every single floppy disk disappeared after his death
You're assuming the floppy existed in the first place.
Anyway, the alleged compression technology as described is clearly nonsense. It's like compressing a movie into 1 byte per frame.
