When I was younger I had good vision.
I started looking at a computer monitor 16 hours a day and a after a few years I developed the need for glasses if I wanted to look at anything farther than a computer monitor away.
I just tried wearing my glasses and it seems that even looking at my computer monitor things appear slightly less blurry.
Does anyone know if wearing my glasses in this way will fuck up my vision even more?
I didn't think it was the monitor itself that was doing damage, I imagine it was the idea of looking at something only 2 feet away from you for the majority of the day that fucked it up. But maybe that's bullshit too? I'm not sure.
OP I'm in the same boat as you. It's called Computer Vision Syndrome, which you have developed. I went to 2 docs because I felt my vision getting really fucked up after spending about 4 years looking at a pc for 8 hours a day, and now half a year for about 12. My eyes become red after 1-3 hours and my vision becomes blurry. What you should do is use the 20-20-20 rule, yawn a fuckton (it creates tears) and don't forget to blink. Also, don't spend so much time in front of a fucking pc unless you absolutely must. Rather sleep, rest your eyes, take a nap.
>This OP. You have basically developed an intuitive understanding for matrix arithmetic and scale-invariant feature-transform.
I was confused for a moment but kekked heartily thereafter. Nicely done.
>spend basically all the time looking at screens
