When I was younger I had good vision.

I started looking at a computer monitor 16 hours a day and a after a few years I developed the need for glasses if I wanted to look at anything farther than a computer monitor away.

I just tried wearing my glasses and it seems that even looking at my computer monitor things appear slightly less blurry.

Does anyone know if wearing my glasses in this way will fuck up my vision even more?

No, faggot. Spending 16 hours a day on 4chan is what's fucking up your vision.

Dumbass.
>>
Was your monitor a CRT or an LCD? I think LCDs screw less with vision than CRTs from what I've heard.

Monitors don't screw up your vision, they nake your eyes dry.
You just always had a genetic defect that developped.

I didn't think it was the monitor itself that was doing damage, I imagine it was the idea of looking at something only 2 feet away from you for the majority of the day that fucked it up. But maybe that's bullshit too? I'm not sure.

>>7792622
Yes that's bullshit.

Thanks.

I've heard it may be because of sitting at home all day long and not getting enough sunlight
>>

I was using a CRT in the 2000s what are you talking about?
>>
>>7792930
He's either tupid, young, or both. I was using crt up until 2006 or so. Kind of wish I still had it.

That doesn't say anything about computers, or looking at something close-up 16 hours a day.

OP I'm in the same boat as you. It's called Computer Vision Syndrome, which you have developed. I went to 2 docs because I felt my vision getting really fucked up after spending about 4 years looking at a pc for 8 hours a day, and now half a year for about 12. My eyes become red after 1-3 hours and my vision becomes blurry. What you should do is use the 20-20-20 rule, yawn a fuckton (it creates tears) and don't forget to blink. Also, don't spend so much time in front of a fucking pc unless you absolutely must. Rather sleep, rest your eyes, take a nap.

This OP. You have basically developed an intuitive understanding for matrix arithmetic and scale-invariant feature-transform.

I was confused for a moment but kekked heartily thereafter. Nicely done.

Your eyes have undergone morphological operations

It's going to be hard, anon, but just try to leave the desk and relax your eyes by looking at things far away, preferably trees.

Start using flux on 1200k at night and after a few days you will be better.

I was born with bad vision. I have astigmatism , I aggravate my condition browsing 4chan, playing lol and wow. Now I have astigmatism and myopia.
>>
>>7793519
Hey astigmatisms bro.
What do you mean aggravate your condition? I also spend a lot of time browsing a stuff, yet I recently found out I also, kinda ironically, have hyperopia.

You can stop eye strain by getting a program like redshift or f.lux
>>

In my childhood I only suffered astigmatism. A few years later, after hours and hours of pc use I developed myopia.
