His entire style revolves around making a flat strawman of an opinion he doesn't like, then tearing it down with another character as though it makes the opinion look shallow and indefensible. Or to imply it has the basis he wants it to have.

Usually he himself is too dim and shallow to understand other people's perspectives. Like in this case, constantly documenting your experience of reality does alter the way you experience and conceptualize it. Why do I care, from time to to time? Because I'm not a moron. I watch people. I think about people. I understand people don't exist in a vacuum, and I watch the basis of their behaviors and how they pan out.

I'm the kind of person, that when asked how to improve the world, isn't so delusional as to ignore people's high level behaviors, where they go, and what other behaviors cluster around them. xkcd is an obnoxious twat, and the type of human being every one of my tendencies tend to be completely at odds with. Everything the moron does is "13 year old style".
