Polymer science is cooler than every other type of scientific pursuit.
Said no one ever
Condensed matte r physics is cooler

I thought I would hate it, but Physical Chemistry 2 is reaally neat.
Everything is less inert than I thought, and the abillity to make quantative predictions from simple models is really nice.
Reading a review on self healing polymers now, which is triple neat.
But please put a bullet in my brain before making me do the experimental work

it got Catherine Coleman onto the ISS

>Polymer SCIENCE
Well done OP. You are following the rule of
>If you want to make it a meme, at the word 'science' to it
+1 reddits to you, OP.

>+1 reddits to you,
lmao xDD
>>7791375
is protein science a meme?
>>7791447
Of course it is, just follow the general rule. Just like 'Computer Science'.
If it was a legit field of study, studied by serious individuals then it would not need to have 'science' in the title to be in the category of science. Like Physics, chemistry, bio, etc.

It's time to stop posting, Tim.

what about calling computer science computing, seeing as it is generally a mix of discreet mathematics with complexity and recursion theory but with some shitty engineering stuff thrown in (at postgrad level and higher not you retard undergrad comp sci students)
Get your disgusting spaghetti polymers out of here, MOFs are way cooler
Good textbooks for intro to polymers? Just finished orgo.

"Polymer Chemistry", by Malcom Stevens is a pretty good overview. Really big on reactions and physical properties, especially vinyl polymers.
