I was surprised to find out that American highschool math is more rigorous than UK hs equivalent math because europoors can never find enough time to explain how dumb america is

Not sure much about the euro uni courses but I know they would need some catching up to do

Warum ist Informatik ein schlechter Studiengang?
Ich strebe momentan an, Mathematik und Informatik parallel zu studieren. Da meine pleb Uni keine gesonderten Mathekurse für Informatiker besitzt, werden diese einfach zusammegelegt. Das führt dazu, dass ich als mein Nebenfach im 4ten+ Semester Mathe wählen kann und mit insgesamt 2 zusätzlichen Modulen ein komplettes Mathestudium in der Tasche habe.
Ich wollte wirklich nur vergleichen, Erfahrungen sammeln und eine Diskussion anregen.
Die Rhetorik sollte das Thema etwas attraktiver machen, wobei es anscheinend eher shitposter anzieht.

The only differences I can see are that in my experience, linear algebra doesn't usually bother with the groups/rings/fields set of topics. That happens in the algebra course.

Also you apparently are stupid because you can find the course calendar for a math degree at literally any university just by googling

Insbesondere, wenn man den Abschluss von einer miesen Uni hat, sind die Aussichten auf einen gescheiten Job schlecht. Alles was nicht TU9 ist kannst du in die Tonne treten.

Weil das Niveau jedes Jahr noch weiter gesenkt wird. Informatik-Studiengänge sind überflutet mit unreifen und unintelligenten 4.0-Abiturienten, die einfach nur "irgendwas mit Computern" studieren wollen, weil sie Videospiele spielen und zu faul sind, eine Ausbildung anzufangen. Die Universitäten passen ihre Lehrinhalte diesen Leuten an. Alles was du in einem Informatikstudium lernst, kannst du dir - sofern du nicht geistig zurückgeblieben bist - in kürzerer Zeit selber aneignen und gleichzeitig noch etwas anderes vernünftigeres studieren. Es tut einfach weh, mit Leuten in einem Kurs zu sitzen, die im sechsten Semester noch immer nicht wissen, was ein Logarithmus ist.
