ITT: We pretend to be transhumanists.
I'll kick it off.
In the future, technology will stop being physical. Moore's law tells us that computer power will eventually be infinitely large, so that means that we'll be able to hack the universe. Goodbye supply shortages!
i have a design for a von-neumann space elevator, which can create a web of space elevators traversing the galaxy

The trouble is, transhumanism is a great subject and it belongs to /sci/. But the trans-fuccbois that fill the thread are nothing more than pop-sci loving manchildren that watched a few dumb tryhard sci-fi movies and are convinced that the future humanity will experience will look like that in 15 years. They fill the thread with baseless claims and their personal fantasies and insist that their posts are relevant where as they hold absolutely no scientific rigor.
Thats why every transhumanism thread will turn into a manchildren autismfest which will move away from the actual subject and turn into shit.

Pretty much.
Unfortunately, the word itself has become irreversibly associated with these manchild mongoloids.
