>Scientists at the University of New South Wales discovered that, for fruit flies at least, the size of the young was determined by the size of the first male the mother mated with, rather than the second male that sired the offspring.
>“Our new findings take this to a whole new level – showing a male can also transmit some of his acquired features to offspring sired by other males,” she says.
>The researchers found cells with Y-chromosomes in the mother after these births, meaning the mother had male cells present in her female body. The researchers also found genetically similar male cells in the mother’s female puppies from a later litter. Those puppies were newborn and had never been pregnant, strongly suggesting that they acquired the cells that were left behind by their older brothers while in the womb.
Any biofags want to weigh in on this?
>All the nerds on /sci/ thought all the years of autism would pay off in their 30s, when finally, after getting bored of being railed by chads, women would looking to settle down with men like them, because they're intelligent and well educated.

Chad always wins, you little sperglords.
they are making a conclusion from the statement:
"Scientists have proved that, in fruit flies at least, offspring can resemble a mother’s previous mate"
I don't really know if it's clickbait or they truly believe that taking flies as examples is accurate.
>But the birth of genetics dismissed ‘telegony’ as a superstition which had no basis in science.
>This particular mechanism would be unlikely to apply to mammals such as humans because of differences in reproductive physiology compared to insects.
>“However, there is now evidence that so-called ‘epigenetic’ changes, can be passed down at least one or two generations, and such changes can be influenced by diet and other lifestyle differences.

I guess the poltard forgot to report those details
Stem cells from "pregnancy" from the first male help with later "pregnancies".
Stem cells enter woman from offspring. Later, these stem cells can enter a second litter.
Spermatazoa literally cannot get into any cell except an egg cell and survive.
And if it somehow got in a non-egg cell, the cell would not function and die, as a product of the acrosomes damaging the cell and resultant apoptosis, since eggs are designed to not get damaged from acrosomes, and are almost 100% the only cell type sperm can enter (due to receptors).
People claiming otherwise are retarded
>humans are fruitflies
>/pol/ thinks they can into science
>not doing a DNA check on all your offspring
Well, effectively in humans, a woman can have male stem cells from many male relatives, that pass through a chain of pregnancies from mother to daughter (or son, to end the chain).
You can't avoid getting "cucked", even with virgins, since they'll have these stem cells.
That said, I still prefer "pure" QT virgins
>baiting this hard
If baby comes from single cell then how does stem cells transfer? Checkmate kikes.
That doesn't work you stupid fuck, go read a book nigger
>mfw im falling for his bait
>Any biofags want to weigh in on this?
Sure. It means that there's something going on in fruit flies that we don't understand yet. Which means...
Your subject line is worthy of being a Buzzfeed/Upworthy title it's so shamelessly clickbaity.
Please tell me you are retarded.
Maternal microchimerism/ fetomaternal microchimerism
Fucking kill yourself.
You think you know shit?
I go to a medical school which is top 10 in the world, and you're telling me to go read a book.
Please, take your fragile-x syndrome retard genes out of circulation. Go shoot yourself you abortion tier waste of space
>The physiological persistence of fetal cells in the circulation and tissues of a previously-pregnant woman is called fetal cell microchimerism (FCM). It was hypothesized to play a role in systemic autoimmune diseases, but in autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD) only limited data are available.
>Circulating FCM was analyzed in a large series of previously-pregnant women with either Graves' (GD) or Hashimoto's (HT), or healthy (HC). To exclude the possible bias related to placental factors, the polymorphic pattern of human leukocyte antigen-G (HLA-G) gene, known to be involved in the tolerance to fetal cells by the maternal immune system, was investigated.
>The higher prevalence of FCM in HC than in GD and HT patients suggests a possible protective role in autoimmune thyroid disorders. Placental factors have been excluded as determinants of the differences found. The vascular and tissue localization of microchimeric cells further highlights their ability to migrate to damaged tissues.
> Microchimeric male fetal cells (MFCs) have been associated with systemic lupus erythematosus, and
published studies have further correlated MFC with lupus nephritis (LN). In the present study, we evaluated the
frequency of MFC in the renal tissue of patients with LN.
> Our data indicate a high prevalence of MFCs in renal biopsy specimens from women with LN,
suggesting a role for MFCs in the etiology of LN. The present report also provides some evidence that MFCs couldhave a beneficial effect in this disease.
I'm only linking papers from 2015 to today
> Fetal cell microchimerism (FCM) is defined as the persistence of fetal cells in maternal organs and circulation without any apparent rejection and it was hypothesized to protect toward the onset of some neoplastic diseases. To verify the role of FCM in papillary thyroid cancer (PTC), we enrolled 87 parous women with PTC and at least one male pregnancy preceding the diagnosis (PTC-P), 66 healthy women with 1 or more male children (HC-P) and 57 nonparous women with PTC (PTC-NP). The presence of circulating male DNA was assessed by the amplification of the Y chromosome-specific gene SRY, with a sensitivity of 1 male cell/1 million female cells. A significantly higher frequency of FCM was found in HC-P than PTC-P women (63.6% vs. 39.1%, p=0.004). Among PTC-P patients, those positive for the presence of FCM (FMC+ve) had a lower prevalence of extrathyroidal extension (p=0.027) and lymph node metastases (p=0.044) than those without FCM (FMC−ve). Moreover, FMC+ve patients were more frequently in remission than FMC−ve cases (94.1 vs. 67.9%, p=0.009). Interestingly, we showed for the first time that the positive effect on tumor presentation and outcome is specifically related to FCM and it is not an effect of pregnancy. In conclusion, circulating FCM is significantly more frequent in healthy parous women than in women with PTC. Moreover, the presence of circulating fetal male cells is associated with a significantly lower extrathyroidal extension and a good prognosis, suggesting a protective role of this phenomenon toward both the onset and the progression of thyroid cancer.
This is gonna be bad news for all the victims of those European rape -- I mean, cultural enrichment waves.

>Human development index
Pirates and swashbucklers don't have a human development index.
Dear Leader raised his country's human development index so high that it's literally off the charts. They're in a socialist utopia looking down on all of us scarcity-driven plebs.
>Unprotected sex = protected sex = making babies

>It means that there's something going on in fruit flies that we don't understand yet.
The most commonly studied type of fly is D. drosophila (Dd from here).
Dd has somehow managed to evolve almost entirely around mating as its primary driving force behind natural selection. The male has spikes on its dick that literally rip semen from the vagina of the male, it can do this for hours. Females have evolved a type of false plug to trick males in to thinking it's currently laying eggs so the male leaves the female alone, but it doesn't always work. The sperm cells in a fruit fly are fucking huge, about 2mm long, for reference the resolution of the human eye is about 0.5mm and we can't see bacteria.
tldr fruit flies are fucking crazy when it comes to sex and using them as a model for anything related to sex in humans is not appropriate.
Here's one of the links from the page;
>We report that 63% of the females (37 of 59) tested harbored male microchimerism in the brain
It means that women who get pregnant with male children become genetically male to a very small degree.
OP here. This thread has nothing to do with /pol/, nor am I affiliated with /pol/ or even interested in politics at all. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? /pol/ is just some bullshit boogeyman just like Reddit or 9gag, when in reality you guys are just trolling yourselves. You are all fucking stupid. Fuck you, bye.
Accident. Every hyperlink I posted besides 1 (you) mentions /pol/. That's ridiculous.
