What does /sci/ think of Zipf's Law?
Cowpies hahah lol cowpies
Man they are desperate
At least one of the reasons.
Sometimes I have these realizations unrelated to mathematics, let's call the little insights.
They are trivial but yet through constant exposure I had failed to notice them.
I'm 27, not a mathematician but have gone through some difficult mathematics textbooks with ease.
Synapses and whatnot in your brain get pruned mercilessly and you become duller.
This is the little spark that lets you solve problems in minutes instead of hours.
Stamina on the other hand is unaffected.
What do you guys think about the use of Thorium Reactors to replace materials such as Uranium-235 in producing Nuclear Energy? Thorium as opposed to other materials has a half life lasting hundreds of years, in contrast to materials today which tends to have half-lives that can last to thousands of years.
Right now, I believe China is attempting to fund these types of reactors, though I do hope to see more countries funding this idea in the future.

Is a hot dog a sandwich?
Before you answer, consider: Do you admit the existence of an open-faced sandwich? Do you believe curvature changes the genre of food? What is the definition of a "filling"?

Man these fuckers, interpreting data to fit their retarded popsci viewpoints
I want to learn math up to calculus and discrete mathematics but I don't know how I should do it. I want to be able to solve proofs etc on my own without so much help. I am so frustrated that I cant learn math just the boring algebra I want to learn the math similar of that in the book " a course of pure mathematics". I tried to read the book but it wasn't going good for me I could proceed on my own. Just tell me how I can learn high level math not the dumb math that they teach in high-school I know there is no difference, what I mean is that I should learn to understand the things I am being taught.
