Human construction of our reality and suicide are two things that invoke deep questions about the nature of social life.

Stephen Hawking or Albert Einstein might be respected but they know nothing of the spoils enjoyed by one who can persuade and command others. Learning hard science has an incredibly small return on investment and is only pursued by those too unlikeable/autistic or stupid to excel through the social strata.

That's good, I hope people on all sides don't turn it into a political debate. It's about scientific exploration, I don't care who or what country funds it.

Yet he's still decreasing their overall budget and costing them scientific research, and he wants to eliminate the Earth Sciences department at NASA for no reason other than a political motivation.

NASA is far more than manned missions, it has been from its inception, and Trump's motivation here is purely political, not scientific.

Manned missions are a massive waste of money too, there's far more of value in launching multiple robotic missions that gather far more scientific data compared to launching a single manned mission.

Let the private sector and people like Musk head the Mars effort. The US government should be more focused on scientific research, not pointless manned missions. There's far more value in studying the Earth and understanding our own atmosphere than there is in sending a vastly expensive manned mission to mars.

Let's say you do have a cluster where the number keeps on growing for a while. That will end eventually and then you will be right on course towards the bottom. And the larger the number n, the faster it will tend to shrink. Since you can extend the sequence indefinitely (or until you reach that 1, 2, 4, 1 loop) it appears inescapable to me that, after enough iterations, you will reach the bottom.

Sloped things are more complicated than level things, which begs the following questions:

1. Would it be harder to land on in an emergency?
2. Would it require more maintenance than a normal runway?

Seems like it would require significantly more precise timing to have multiple planse land on the same circular runway instead of several straight ones.
I don't really get why this would be a good idea in the first place, sounds like a stupid meme like solar roadways or hyperloop.
