What is the most aesthetic, pleasing, clean, freedom, software environment to work with computers?

Linux and Python?
Windows and C++?
Apple and some crap language?

You know exactly what I mean. I want it to be logically and aesthetically pleasing. IDEs and even Notepad++ are garbage tier.

I currently use Notepad, but I want to use the redundant, obsolete, disgusting buttons (top row has something like "File, Edit, Format, View, Help", name, and some utterly repulsive three buttons) that I want to get rid of.

We had a class practical recently. We were looking at the presence or absence of retroviral solo-LTRs at specific loci in our DNA. Loci without the solo-LTR are called pre-integration sites. We wanted to genotype the class, basically.
We ran PCR on our own DNA using primer pairs that surround loci where retroviruses are known to integrate, then ran the products on a gel. Bands for alleles with solo-LTRs will obviously be higher up on the gel because the DNA fragments will be lower.
Ideally we'd get one high band for a solo-LTR homozygote, two bands for a pre-integration site/solo-LTR heterozygote, or one low band for pre-integration site homozygote.

We didn't get any of that shit. The only clear bands we got were for the pre-integration site and the only way we can be sure whether there's a solo-LTR in any of the bands is by looking at huge smears.

I've drawn this shitty diagram on powerpoint to illustrate the position of the smears. Grey represents smears and the very dark grey band represents a clear band. Please help me understand which situation means what.

What would the realistic prospects of rejuvenation be in the upcoming 20-30 years, assuming one has lots of money?

Both incredibly optimistic and pessimistic outlooks are welcome.

Possible pathways in the broad sense could be various gene editing and their delivery systems, stem cell research, xenotransplantation, bionics, etc.

Productive discussion appreciated, mindless assertive speech and insults - not.

I'm not arguing for determinism, i'm simply arguing that the will of a human is out of their control and is only made by the environment surrounding the person, not the person themselves.

Here's a thought experiment.

We have 2 identical persons, person A and person B.

Both of them are perfectly identical, so flawlessly mirroring eachother that you could not tell the difference.

Now, if we keep person A in the normal world and we transport person B to a world ruled by aliens and then fast forward 10 years, you can clearly see that the idea of free will crumbles.

Person A and person B will end up completely different people, while person A is a pacifist and owns a flowershop, person B despises his alien overlords and just started a resistance.

Of course this is a very extreme example, but this type of logic has nothing preventing it from applying to smaller things.

If it were really hot right now you would probably be more cranky, and if it were colder, you would probably feel more timid. Both of these can affect decisions you make and can possibly lead to a sort of butterfly effect, which could probably change events in your life drastically.

The last bullet that people try to fire into this argument is that it's morally wrong in that it is basically an excuse for criminals to be criminals because they "couldn't be anything else"

This argument is weak, as it's only arguing from a human moral standpoint, which the laws of physics give less than 1 fuck about.

I'm not arguing that criminals shouldn't be locked up, i'm just saying free will is nonsense through our current understanding of the world.

she means well, and actually works hard*, but she's just keeps asking stupid questions.

her way of approaching things is mostly memorisation over understanding. when calculate excersises she will go:
"huh?! what do I do?! No idea! please show me what you have done" and then kinda copy it and still fail 2 times along the way.
another example: in 5th semester she didn't know how the fuck i knew that [math] m = \rho V [/math]

it's rediculous and needs to stop!

how to deal with these people?

I'm developing a new calendar for Heathen Europeans since some are disillusioned with the Black Pope sicking the muzzies on the atheistic natives of Europe.

9 months a year named for the 9 realms of Yggdrasil.
9 days a week Sólsday, Mánisday, Tyrsday, Huginday, Odinsday, Muninday, Thorsday, Friggsday, Jörmunganday
5 or 6 day holiday of fvck splitting the summer month.

25800 year precession of the solstice is one season of Yggdrasil
360 degree circle of the north pole completes 1 degree every 71 2/3 years.
And 40 degrees 2866 2/3 years for every 9 branch realm age.

For the time it takes to refurb one rocket stage - they could launch 10-15 expendables. Somebody is not doing the correct math. Man-hours and materials to refurb in my opinion does not cost less than manufacturing to finality a regular one. When that bulk consumption subsides and man-hours explodes exponentially an unsustainable event materializes. Musk is hard-set that flying rockets should be on-par with Boeing airliners. Boeing airliners never leave atmosphere and undergo cryogenic hysteresis. He pushes that envelope that hard the odds of dire consequences explodes. Point in fact the basis of his venture is what is at the root of ..basically...low intelligence being "re-purposed" into higher intelligence? Give me a break. 1940's technology remains 1940's technology.

But Musk is not alone. NASA, Amazon, and all of the others are doing the EXACT SAME THING. They are all competing with each other using the exact same technology....hahahahahahaha. Nothing like using hobby shop drone software to engage the "rocket come home and land over there" commands.....Wonder where the algorithms came from actually......hmmm

There is a way to lift a 500 ton payload into space and move it anywhere it is needed. Deep orbit, next to moon, stationary orbit - anywhere. It is just these so-called scientists cannot see the forest through the trees. Too many like-minds and all focused on one thing: build a tube and attach liquid fuel burning engines to it...YEAH! THAT'S THE TICKET! We at NASA just blew through 20 billion building the next rocket......which is no better than ATLAS......Should have just upgraded ATLAS...would have saved 19 billion and would have already been doing things and going places.......
