Case 1: You get a positive result on the chest CT. Congratulations, you finally have proof of the cancer you've been convinced you have. Go directly to chemo and buy a hat for your soon to be bald head.
Case 2: You have a negative result.
What are you going to do? Are you going to switch to some other organ system that you'll have cancer from? Will it be testicular now? Kidney? Skin?
Will you finally put this whole issue to rest if you get a negative result from the chest CT?

I mean, your question is pretty vague.
Each time it passes by a water molecule, it loses energy. The complicated part is that it loses a different amount of energy depending on the scattering angle. So you need to find an average angle. Then you can see how many particles it hits before it loses all its momentum. The spacing of the water molecules tells you how far it goes basically.
Fortunately, you can do it using classical mechanics

I need some science up in this shit, quite literally. I have been trying to live without a cecostomy tube and doing bowel irritations for about three years now and it has been hell. I don't want to get a cecostomy tube again and I sure as fuck don't want to get a colostomy bag to deal with. I'm poor as fuck any ways an only eat one MAYBE two meals a day. I know that it takes about 36 hours for a normal person to digest food fully but I also have internal hemorrhoids and inflammation to deal with...so please /sci/ halp me, I need to figure out a way to live...
All of the spina bifida resource sites that I periodically google all say the same damn thing..exercise more, eat fruit/veg, and drink water but 1 and 2 are mostly out for me and I can only get to about 20 hours before I DESPERATELY need to eat something so fasting has been out for me for a while but I was once successful with it in the past.
Picture very related.. I fucking love eggs but haven't been eating any breakfast for months now..

Bananas are out due to constipation and so is rice. I try to avoid grain because I am not sure if I have Chron's or not but I definitely notice eating bread messes me up for quite a few hours.
It does come down to money that I just don't have really, like you said it would be easier to sort this if that was the case, but as it is I am sort of just stuck living off of convenience store crap and fast food like subs & pizza.

When cloning becomes a thing, do you think it will be illegal to make a clone of yourself with some gene editing, such as crispr, to change an X chromosome to Y or vice versa, and fuck it?
Would that be abuse? Or would it be okay since you own your genetic material and your clone would probably want to fuck since it's probably going to think just like you do?
What about slave labor? Or making it a maid? Or splitting up which one has to clock in at work?
Like seriously, you can already get crispr kits, and I assume growing people in vats like Mewtwo isn't far off, especially since we can already make artificial gametes and use surrogates.

Studied hard before college, studied harder during undergraduate years for astrophysics, dual major with math because why not. Top of my year in physics during Junior year, graduate with high honors. Couldn't get into graduate program at same school because of the department not having TA or RA positions available, me getting mediocre GRE score or both. Didn't get internships because too focused on academia, applying to everything within traveling distance and some things outside of travelling distance, never got any responses at all. Doing shit odd jobs of yardwork and housecleaning to exhausting and unhealthy amounts for an asshole in charge of an interesting project relating to astrophysics with no funding. Made less than $6000 in 2016 doing this shit and grading job during last semester, inconsistent work and no way to afford to go back to school now. Student debt payments kicking in with an extra $350 a month making it harder for me to save up to afford gradschool or a car to commute 4 hours daily to the only place I could potentially get work because this town has no public transportation and is 100 miles from anything not a military testing ground and farmland.
God damn this all fucking sucks. I fucked up by not getting internships but even with them there's nothing available, let alone for the BS level. Spent the better part of a decade pushing myself more than my peers and it amounts to nothing and now I'm not even doing physics, the things I sacrificed so much to do. Not sure why I'm posting this here, just fed up and wanted to vent to the faceless people on a board I haven't visited in years. Talk about whatever.
