Fall semester is about to start, and that means a new noot cycle. Tried Noopept but it's hard to weigh and take (have to hold it under tongue and it takes forever to dissolve, need to redose several times a day). Thinking about trying some Phenylpiracetam. Anybody have any experience with this?
>>9088642
no i dont take medication because nothing is wrong with me

>need to redose several times a day

Why are you taking quartz?
Is it possible to make a non carcinogenic analog of nicotine?
>>9088614
Nicotine's not carcinogenic, all the half burned smoke and ash you normally suck in with it is.
Just do methamphetamine cowards.
>>9088660
So nicotine gum is great for studying?
Will CRISPR/CAS9 cure baldness?
Hopefully not. Bad genetics should not be hidden.
Molecular biology major here.
At the moment it seems CRISPR can't be used to cure baldness or increase intelligence etc.
So far it is limited to fixing disorders caused by bad single base pairs or short sequences of DNA. Traits that are not completely understood or caused by a variety of genes are not feasible for CRISPR treatment

Have you wished it a happy birthday /sci/?

Girl: Hey big boy. You know, I think I like you... what do you do for a living?
>Oh, I'm a doctor...
Girl (thinking): Jackpot. I'm gonna let this guy cum in my ass, lick my eye, cheat on me with my sister, whatever I don't care as long as I have him.
>of mathematics
Girl: Oh, sorry I just remember today is my mom's birthday and I need to go visit her. Bye!

If you're not ASHKENAZI female, keep on walking.
Nah, everytime I say I'm a physics PhD I hear that gasp that makes them panties wet. Same for my math PhD peers.

But what if she has the asskenazi?
Would you rather have a meme pseudoscience economics/business degree and be filthy rich, or live a normal life and study what you like?
Pic related is the best business school in my country and Europe, I could probably go there given how fucking retarded business school students are.
However I think I might regret it. I mean sure, I could get any job I wanted, but is it really worth it? I'd feel stupid and cowardly for prioritizing my career over what interests me. I mean it's not like it's *that* easy, they are supposed to have a pretty good math level, at least at the entrance exam. But it pales in comparison with what's studied even at the undergrad level in math unis. That and the whole meme business school phraseology about innovation and sheet, I don't think I could look at myself in the mirror. Am I just being autistic? I mean, I could get a business degree and pursue math on the side, right? It's not unheard of.
>>9087242
>I could probably go to HEC if I wanted to, nbd
sure you could
>>9087242
Do you think you're going to get rich just because you have a business degree ? If business degree people are rich it's because of daddy's connections, if you don't have that you might wanna pursue what really interests you, bonne chance
>>9087242
I'm introverted so business/economics would be hell for me.
The job would not be fulfilling and I'm sure the stress would be too much resulting in an alcoholism problem, feeling lonely despite all the hookers and kill myself before I reach 40.
Doing science I get to pretend I'm some kind of monk in quest of enlightenment and feel like I make a difference.
>LTI square system represented in state space form
>change the order in which the equations are written
>thus the rows of the matrix A are rearranged
>the eigenvalues change values
>stable systems can become unstable by writting the equations in a different order
This doesn't make any fucking sense. Math is a flawed tool for modelling real systems. Everything you believe is a lie.
>>9087160
Or you're too much of a brainlet to use it correctly
>>9087160
>Interchanging rows changes eigenvalues
BRAINLET
>>9087310
I already stated the facts. It doesn't make sense that writting equations in a different order affects the system stability and response speed. You're so blind by your faith in math that you can't face the truth.
>>9087334
Pic related.
Why doesn't light reflect off of air as it reflects off of other matter, like a wall, or desk.
It does
>>9086832
The short stupid answer is because visible light photons don't have the right amount of energy to interact with air molecules very well. Quantum mechanics says that if a particles of light has too much energy or not enough energy to interact with a molecule, it simply won't. That's where the name quantum mechanics comes from; it deals with specific quanta of energies.
In reality there's some other funky stuff that goes on like refraction, reflection, etc.
>air
>matter
Pick one, anon.
Why is there something instead of nothing?
If it wasn't a being or entity that created the universe. Then what the fuck is it?
This means there was never nothing and that matter and time always existed.
It's absolutely mind boggling.
Like what the fucking fuck?
Dont question it, just enjoy the futa porn and doritos.
>>9086744
>Dont question it
but why?
>>9086740
You might have an epiphany one day and understand how you can't 'nothing' without having everything.
For a fleeting second you will understand, then it will be gone.

DAE have more respect for someone who fails out of 3rd year STEM than someone with a meme, non-STEM PhD?
>>9086549
PhD gets more respect from me, even if it's bullshit subject, it means he can graduate 2 programs while you cannot graduate from 1. shows lack of commitment/drive
>>9086549
Depends entirely on what either of the degrees are. But realistically speaking, the most common non-STEM PhDs tend to range from colonial studies to lesbian dance theory in terms of retardation so I guess the stem failure gets my sympathy.
>>9086549
To anyone wondering what does DAE mean is "Does anybody here".
I'd say neither because what kind of retard drops out at 3rd year in STEM, he has made it this far and he couldn't finish the degree?
And no respect to any non-STEM PhD because >>9086556, but maybe, MAYBE I'll respect something like Economics or Business since there are PhD programs for Finance that aren't DBA, but nothing else.
