Can science explain what happened in 2007 to everyone? You know, how everyone began to feel different?
/x/?
The internet began expanding and the electro magnetic radiation gave us super cancer with gay aids
>>9104861
it was really 9/11 that REALLY changed everything, and before that the oklahoma bombing. 2007 was just the financial recession

if you have to come up with more and more bullshit for your claim it is probably a wrong claim
Is quantum computing a meme? All this talk and no one seems to achieve anything.
>>9100170
Sure it's not Moore's law but we're making steady progress. This shit is not exactly easy.
>>9100170
The religion of bumping particles have absolutely no proof for any of their claims, they don't even know electrons exists still to this day. Why do you think that after spending x amount of billions of dollars on CERN, they only want to build an even LARGER one now?
Do quantum computers work if no one is observing them?
Do I really need special glasses to look at this shit or is it just a meme?
Do you feel special?

to reduce the chance of damage, train your eyes first by staring at the normal sun
>>9096330
that's only if you have enough time, if you want to train them in a short period I would recommend a low magnification telescope
/lit/ told me to stop video games and start reading, it will help me understand concepts in physics better and improve my memory retention so that I don't have to spend such a long time recapping concepts.
were they right?
What's your IQ?
>>9110730
I didn't measure.
>>9110725
Not if you're just reading fiction.
Tbqh there's a fair amount of games that can teach you more than /lit/s favorite fairy tales.
I just had a thought. I've recently been having a fly problem, so much so that I bought a bunch of things to get rid of them. Occasionally I try to catch one, which is difficult. It occurred to me that I needed to predict where it would be by the time my hand got there, not where it is now. But then I thought that flies have excellent reflexes, so I need to predict which direction it will flee in instead.
Is that a paradox? Because if I alter where my hand grabs based off where it might flee, then the direction the fly flees will also be altered, and in predicting that, I would again need to alter my grab...
Just a heads up, I've made it my life goal to extinct them, regardless of the potential ecological disasters it may cause.
>>9110076
why is that a paradox in any way? i dont understand. You are "guessing" which way the fly will react to a known action (trying to swat it) based on previous experience with similar flies. The fly is only reacting, you are predicting.
Nice thread OP
Bait the fly. Then it will always fly to a certain direction, for the bait. Or ya know, turn on a fan and open a window. That pisses those little buggers off.
how can the speed of light be constant if it can bend? the bend is a change of direction, therefore a change in acceleration
-_-
A change in direction if there is a constant velocity is acceleration itself, not a change in acceleration.
Also I really just came here to point out that this is a blue board. Get your death metal band tits out of here.

Were Neanderthals animals or people?
>>9109632
Depends. If they were white then they were definitely animals. If they were black then they were human beings and white people today have to pay fucking reparations!
>>9109632
Every Human except blacks have about 2% of Neanderthal DNA.
people isn't a scientific term
Do you think the nazi medical experiments data should be used today
If no or yes explain pls. Im leaning towards yes, with the logic being that maybe we can atleast save some lives out of the horrible deaths.
What do you guys think
Yes.
Wasteful to just throw away medical knowledge.
>>9108505
bad thread, at least read the wiki articles about it before posting
>allied swooped in on the research data
>pardoned some horrible people in exchange for scientific discoveries
>some of it was applicable (like G-force testing on human subject) to the Apollo program
>other stuff, like the freezing-to-death-data, wasn't scientifically conducted enough to hold a lot of value
also what do you mean about the data "should be used today"? we have the data and we now know what types of G-forces kills a man, for example. there's not much to use or not use, it's just there

Id be interested to see how /his/ or /pol/ would respond to the same question
Hello /sci/
I want to live forever and I was wondering what would be the best way to do so.
So far I have the plan to donate money to alzheimer's research and skin cancer research because they run in my family and maybe donating to labs working on CRISPR.
I am not interested in anything similar to cryogenics, uploading my brain to the internet and downloading it to another version of myself, and/or accepting jesus into my heart and living forever in heaven
>>9108087
>So far I have the plan to donate money to alzheimer's research and skin cancer research because they run in my family and maybe donating to labs working on CRISPR.
wrong, wrong and still wrong.
Donate to SENS, they are the only ones EXPLICITLY trying to reverse the aging process itself. Aging is the leading cause for both cancer and alzheimer: if you get rid of aging, those two won't get you either.

Why do i lose complete sexual interest after nutting?
So you don't get nerve damage trying in vain to nut again.
When you cum in a girl you become repulsed by her. Its natures way of telling you to go knock up another broad
When a girl climaxes she becomes attracted to the penetrator. Its natures way of telling her to con the man into providing for the kids
>>9107981
Evolutionarily there is no reason for you to maintain interest. Once you've passed on your genes, your job is done.
>tfw this girl I used to date would ask me to finger her if I came first so I'd have to spend a good 3 minutes wriggling my fingers around in my own cum
