After finally getting enough of a steady income that I'd want to consider trying buying some more latexwear (from places OTHER than ebay), I run into a bit of a snag.

... I must've gained 40 pounds over the last two years. It certainly hasn't felt like it to me, my body doesn't seem to look like it's gotten fatter, but that's apparently the case.

Any particular exercise routines or eating habits that might help trim off the body fat?

Indeed, I believe the "novelty" wording is for legeal reasons, as it's possible for there to be some nasty legalities if they don't call it that. If they say it's for a particular purpose and someone misuses it in a way that somehow gets someone hurt (much easier than it sounds, depending on how greedy they are and how good the lawyers are) they can be sued into oblivion.
But if they say it's a novelty item, then it pretty much says "you are responsible for anything you do with it, not us".

I, uhh... may have some first hand experience with their products (not the plain colored ones, though I assume they're almost the same) and certainly wouldn't call them garbage. Soft silicone does have its own quirks though, and if not treated right can go to shit fairly quickly (but then again, the same is true of latex). I guess I could provide details on that, but I guess it's not super relevant to the rest of the thread.
