Updated a few hours ago with the latest from Xiuren.org, a collection of half-res sets with chinese characters removed for maximum compatibility with image viewers.

Yes, I'm well aware of this, though the Han ethnicity are now (i.e. not in the Warring States period as you're showing) very dominant across the whole country through expansion/invasion, etc. so it's not just limited to the more urbanised Pacific coastal areas. So there is a typical "Chinese" look which is usually associated with the modern-day Han and I appreciate there are a lot of other ethnicities there which have a different look to the typical Han appearance.

My point however is that the girl in question looks (to me, anyway) mixed as in a western/chinese mix rather than a mix of Chinese ethnicities. Or maybe there's some surgery going on there, I dunno, lol.
