post what you are drinking
im drinking this presidential set. apparently its inspired from original recipes from the revolutionary war period
because I'm disgusting weeb trash
and it's also $8/6-pack
I've had a bunch of different Kirins when I was over in nipland
sapporo > asahi > kirin > suntory for the big 4, but this was my favorite of the jibiru I tried
So ghetto I couldn't even find a pic on Google... It's$18 a bottle... Everything else is usually $22 or more
Drinking new belgium fat tire with some cope wg.
Pretty pretty pretty good.
drinking carlton draught (australian beer) at the moment.
first time having any. tastes a bit 'weird' but not too bad. it's sort of caramel flavour to it. hard to say what the extra flavour is but caramel is closest i can describe to it, but not sweet caramel.. i can't think of anything else though
better than VB or XXXX gold but if I was drinking more than 2 or 3 beers then I don't know, the taste might be bad like how pale ales are shit after 2 or 3 of them (atleast to me).
i've been wanting to try 'trappist' beers even though leffee isn't a 'proper' trappist beer.
are monastery beers a meme though? i only want to try because i've read they're good, but i don't know if thats just religious propoganda/shilling or not. belguims/germans always have decent beer though
Fat Tire is awesome
Currently drinking pic related, pretty good
Just had a shot of this. First time drinking vodka. Feels like I've made an expensive mistake.
Very, very cheap white wine.
This is what life is all about.
Shitty bulk lager atm
Had a bottle of pic related last night, was a pleasant experience. 10% ABV and it still tasted very smooth.
how does an IPA taste smooth? everyone i've tasted has tasted like shit and were bitter/spicy as hell.
it's why i don't get how people always buy IPAs for craft beers and how most in craft beer places are IPAs... maybe i've just been buying shitty ones.
only a few hours ago i was very drunk but for 4 hours of that drunkness i had the hiccups. It fucking made me go insane. I was just laying in bed spazzing.
i fell asleep with the hiccups and woke up with them a few hours later. it was a nightmare
i rarely get hiccups from drinking, even though hiccups are overplayed as a sign of being drunk. but i usually burp a lot.
hiccups are annoying as fuck though. i used to get them randomly most days (when i wasnt drinking), mostly i think from smoking. was more annoying that i couldn't have a cigarette.... i wouldn't have any hiccups, but as soon as i went for a smoke and tried to inhale i'd hiccup and couldn't smoke
Carlton dry is better
Tooheys new, is another decent option, considering it is on tap literally everywhere. Little creatures are making some good stuff at the moment
Unless you are a connoisseur go for skyy vodka
Ipa is a meme and edgy faggots ruin it with over the top citrus flavours, IPAs are suppose to malty as fuck because of the trip to India they took
>Ipa is a meme and edgy faggots ruin it with over the top citrus flavours, IPAs are suppose to malty as fuck because of the trip to India they took
this is completely wrong. it's the opposite actaully: the beer needed antioxidants for the trip so brits used lots of hop, and here u have the extremely hopped beer. on a side note, the bitter hoppy taste is the opposite of the sweet malty one in a 'beer flavour spectrum'.
and, ipa is not edgy at all: someone likes his beer sweet, others like it bitter. that's all senpai
Did you try this stuff?
Basically Sprite that gets you drunk.
Lunchtime. First but not the last beer of today.
>one of the street signs in the captcha was a street your mom died on
carlton dry has a chemical/metallic taste to it that i hate. carlton draught was better... but still i think they're both pretty bad/average. i'd prefer tooheys to carlton dry easily
just finished off the last of my captain morgan
mixed it with shasta tiki punch, was actually pretty good
I have some jim bean honey but I fucking hate it I literally can't drink it
also, is gin and tonic any good? thinking of trying it for the first time with the next paycheck
gin tastes like vodka with a weird fruity (but not sweet fruity, more like an unsweet berry) taste to it.
vodka itself is much better. mixed with tonic i don't know. i just mixed it with lemonade like i do vodka. tasted worse then just vodka, both mixed and in a shot.
>a street your mom died on
she died on several streets? sounds awful
The best soda. Is there anything better than a cooled can of Dr Pepper?
Alright kids, don't get too crazy, I used to drink like you guys back in my day too.
Just give me a call if you need a ride later, I'd be heart broken if any of you got hurt.
desu Malty IPA's are much better for me than Hoppy ones, unless the hop varietals are particularly good. In saying that though I would much rather drink a good stout, barleywine or sour than an IPA desu.
Gin is basically just Vodka but with botanicals infused in it, so depending on the gin it can have a whole bunch of different flavours. At the right time and a place, such as when it's really hot outside, a G&T is amazing.
Drinking red wine right now.
Decent white wine can be amazing (for example a good Austrian or German Riesling is absolutely stunning, as is a good aged Semillon) but as a general rule I prefer red wine by a long shot. I could happily drink Pinot Noir for the rest of my life.
I knew it was spicy but never thought about cherry flavour. Why is there a cherry version on its own then?
Mountain Dew is pretty nice too but really hard to get here in germany. I only know one store who has it and it only sells overpriced cans or 0,5l bottles. We only have the green one too.
drinking pic related with coke, already down about half a bottle and starting to feel it pretty hard, trying to expand my liquor taste (read:becoming and alcoholic) what do you robots suggest for tomorrow night?
>drinking voda shots
>not mixed with something
Jesus anon, you can do better. Just mix it with orange juice if you want to get drunk.
What kind of shots do you guys like? I prefer Jaegermeister since it doesn't taste like pure ethanol like the rest
I was actually thinking of Mr. Pibb so I apologize for the mistake good anon sir. Dr. Pepper is mostly vanilla.
Green Mountain Dew is the only mountain dew worth drinking so you're not missing out on much. Baja blast is okay too I guess.
i sware years ago (like 15 or so) they used to sell it in kfc and stuff
can get normal dr. pepper in woolworths but it's like 3 dollars a can for those small ones. i don't get why they don't sell it... must be because noone bought it when they did (if they did, or if i'm just remembering some other drink that looked like dr pepper)
Don't think you can order them online, I check a while back. Disappointing.
I drunk three or four every night (plus beer) for ten days straight in tokyo and ended up getting extremely sick for a couple days, and after that I couldn't bring myself to get them again until the end of the trip where I drunk 7 of the apple flavoured ones and fell asleep in the hallway outside our apartment.
I think you're right about Dr Pepper being in woolies, but its definitely overpriced. All the american drinks that get imported that aren't coke or pepsi etc always end up being more expensive.
>i sware years ago (like 15 or so) they used to sell it in kfc and stuff
I remember this as well.
I think there isn't mainstream distribution in Australia for it, so it's imported by a third party who then sell it to Woolworths etc.
Whereas Coca-Cola etc etc is all made locally with huge economies of scale.
>drinks from tankards
God-tier taste, you seem like a bro. I hope we can go for a pint together some time.
Pic related, my poison for today.
