My local police had several guys on the force that were straight up terrible. One sold hard drugs to kids and he got put on desk duty for 6 months before getting sent back out on patrol, and then kept selling drugs. One k9 officer who would come into the gas station I worked at who I thought was cool as fuck ended up being a domestic abuser. You'll notice that city departments have some of the better officers while rural and urban places usually end up sticking with the shit heads just because of the insane cost it took to train them.
