It made online identity start mattering to highschool students. It made their social lives follow them home every day, and once smartphones were added ontop of all that, well, then it follows them everywhere.

This got me thinking the other day, there is a sort of transitional phase on the 6th year of the decade then in the 7th year the changes become evident and a lot of new things become popular, this carries on till the 1st year of the next decade where everything reaches a peak then everything starts to decline.

I'm predicting a lot of changes this year, a lot of things will change and this will become more evident next year when we start to look back at it.
