overpopulation has always bugged me. everyone who talks about it is like "yeah but oh well, we would need to kill x billion people to have a chance to survive anyway, might as well just live it up until we all die" which is annoying because a) you can't let the perfect be the enemy of the good, b) these smug assholes who "figured it all out" and bought the overpopulation meme are always talking about someone else having to die, probably all africans, and c) overpopulation seems so obviously to be a meme created to keep the poor man fighting his fellow poor brothers instead of figuring out ways to overthrow the shackles of the rich.
