It just works.
Nice. Swish/Wavves/TLoP leak when.
I personally use Xubuntu myself with xfce or openbox. Nothing wrong with the -buntu distros as long as you don't use unity. Might give Arch a try. Sometimes I like to run I3 too.

I see. Elementary OS looks nice but I am not sure about how stable it really is. Its essentially Ubuntu with a new mac like skin so if you are familar with ubuntu than you should be fine. Same for Mint. If you are feeling really edgy you can also give Gentoo a try (though I wouldn't recommend it if you are like me and are barely getting into linux). Its just one big meme to be honest. You'd be better off with an easy distro.
I only have a few months of experience playing around with linux, but I do want to play around with one more easy distro before I use anything too complex like gentoo or arch.
I really do like this OS after only using Windows 7 for about six years. The first week was a pain to get use to, but after awhile I got use to it.
Probably the best way to get into Linux is by doing what you are already doing exactly. Just mess around with different distros, desktop environments, window managers, and find out what you like and dislike. That's the beauty of Linux, you can set up your computer to your liking. Now if only I had a proper desktop to run an optimized Linux setup on.

I use private browser because I'm paranoid and I don't want "/r9k/ - WHY IS MY DICK SO SMALL" to pop up when I'm showing people shit on my computer.
