I eat oats all the time like this, sucks with kettle water though this might be because the water is too hot and I don't rinse out the limescale beforehand, ok in the microwave sometimes but it is difficult to time it right so it is neither too cold or too hot

Im lactose intolerant, i had this idea of eating cereal with water too but it must be awful. I make banana-egg-water shakes tho, while everyone makes it with milk

Just get oatmeal instead, pour water and stick in the microwave. Sure its a little dry, but milk, brown sugar and fruit are a luxury.
