My school didn't let us do senior quotes because there wouldn't be enough space in the yearbook. We had 2500 students with a graduating class of around 700. While we're on the topic of senior year and graduation ceremonies, I'll always look back at the ceremony fondly. My graduating class only had like 25 people because I went to a hippie charter school. I was salutatorian or whatever so I gave a speech, I cried and made everybody else cry. Everyone pretended to like each other one last time. I hugged all my teachers, who were cooler than half the class, and thanked them for everything they did for me. I hugged my few friends tight and made plans to hang out over the summer. And then I proceeded to never intentionally speak to any of them ever again. It feels like a dream, looking back. I don't regret not keeping up with them. I was just never really meant to have long term friends. I really hope they're happy, though.
