Man, I wish I still had a collection of online friends like I did back in the day. I'm talking mid-1990s up to late-2000s. I ended up meeting most of them in person, but now they're starting families and now I'm alone.

Why would I want online friends if I don't want any IRL?

Seriously this. Dubs absolutely confirm. I've talked to dozens of people on skype, the only 2 people I actually continued talking to for years are the only two who never showed me a picture of themselves, never did a video chat, never did a voice call, never asked me for a picture, never told our names.

The point of the internet is the anonymity of it. The beauty of the relationships is that they're in some ways the purest. There is nothing to gain out of it, no ulterior motives, no bias based on looks or voice or anything.

Normies can't stop jerking themselves off and worshiping themselves off to ever discover this though. They just want to post pictures of themselves, because they're scared of having to be judged on their actual personality instead of just getting by on looks. The truth is they never developed any deeper thoughts, or analyzed the world around them. They were too busy being narcissistic cunts. So the idea of conversing without social status is absolutely foreign to them, and they will never understand the appeal.
