I do, but my taste is probably trash by 4chan standards. I gravitate heavily towards anything really violent and gory, along with "feels" anime. For example, in no real order my top five would be Mirai Nikki, Angel Beats!, Madoka, Kill la Kill, and Deadman Wonderland. I finally got around to finishing Akame Ga Kill a few weeks ago

I watched Shaman King and Dragonball Z when I was a little kid. I didn't even know what anime is, I just thought of it as cartoons. Serious, superior, badass cartoons.

Later on when the weebhype took on in my country I decided to watch some more. I went for Mirai Nikki and loved it, then I watched something else about a ghost of a 100-year old schoolgirl named Yuuko.

When I was younger I watched basically all of DBZ and season 1/2 of Yu gi oh. I also watched a bunch of the early Pokemon episodes.

I much prefer regular tv. Currently re watching early supernatural. I watched the show before years ago. I saw s1-4 some of 5,6 and a bunch of 7.

Haven't watched anime since 3 years.

After I watched Champloo and Bebop, I watched monster and then I could not find a decent mature anime.

I finally finished Legend of the Galactic Heroes last night. It was a long journey and probably the best anime journey I will ever have. I'll start watching Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 tonight and then get through the assorted LoGH prequels/other stories.

As for currently airing, there's a few:

I kind of felt the same way about Near when I watched death note for the first time, and Near looks even younger than he already is, but remember they are specially gifted kids, Near is smarter and Mello is more like a tough guy who uses violence and crime to get what he wants. Also Mello's mannerism is eating chocolate, which makes him more similar to L cause he used to eat sweets all the time.
