Post was ironic and meant to enrage. Was skeptical about an internet test, but saw lots of discussion on here about this one. Read up on this RPM test, seems to be legit (despite the fact that this one is online). Figured I'd give it a go.
It told me I'm a genius, so being a hardcore beta, I'll take whatever ego booster I can get. So r9k, I've seen some posts of people claiming this is legit. Is it legit r9k?

Go take a actual IQ test and I guarantee you will score 95-100.

too bad i'm literally $0. i went to the casino last night with $200 hoping to make a lot of money playing texas hold'em poker and lost. i don't think i played sub optimally i feel like only one hand i should've played ifferently but ultimately i just don't have a bankroll to be playing. also that hand i played sub optimally is still haunting me because it's bascially the what broke me and had i performed the initial actions i wanted to i would've won the hand probably.

this leads me to believe either /r9k/ has literal geniuses congregating here OR the test is inaccurate. i mean the test seemed really easy to me only one or two i didn't quite visualize and just kinda guessed but other then them two all the other ones were so obvious.

well this is where you're assuming things which is not correct. in any 'professional' setting that an iq test is administered there'll be section that deals with raven matrices. as you can see most people on /r9k/ have no problem doing this so on that portion of the test they'll score high.

i don't know the other portions but i think theres' like verbal/memory/numbers i would assume a lot of robots and people in general would do bad on the memory part. robot reasoning is depression/mental illness really mess with your memory (pretty documented) but also memory is something that lot of people just arent' good at.

for instance imagine them showing you fifteen different symbols with a numerical markings for ten seconds. then they show you one of the symbols and ask you what the corresponding number was. a lot of people including i suck at that type of shit.
