>>26290777 >>focuses on differences Probably something about racism
>>obsessed with status >So being Chad/successful? Obsessed with being Chad doesn't make you a Chad, what the comic probably implies is that people like that are often shallow with paper thin personalities and no individuality
I know the "advice" is stupid, but I really like to follow the picture.
>"OH NO THE STONE FLOOR IS HARSH, AND THERE ARE NO TREES GROWING!" >"Phew, im glad we made it up the mountain, it's so safe up here, omg i feel so comfy and safe amongst the trees nobody will try to push me down to death, and the grass is really soft and cuddly".
On that note, did anyone borrow a book at childhood from the school library, where it was drawn medieval, and you followed it with your finger, it was like a puzzle. And you could fold the book and it became like 100+ in the future, with new walls etc.
This shitty comic is using words and pictures to explain all of those points.
>focuses on differences means being a racist or some other way of hating people for being different, because he scares the birbs away
>obsessed with status means he cares more about showing off than he does about achievement itself, because the goat is on a stage and acting glitzy
>thinks it's about age is saying you are immature if you think your maturity is determined by your age, as opposed to your thoughts and actions. It relies on ignoring the definition of "mature" that means old, since that context does not fit within the larger theme of "maturity as a mentality"
>>26290925 Oh I had that one too. I was thinking of this other highly cryptic thing full of puzzles (not mazes perse) but the rules weren't explained and you sort of had to put them together to progress and decode the book. I was enrolled in a private school that had it in the library and it made me feels stupid as a kid and I tried to conquer it for a year.
>>26290959 >Obsessed with facts >Is afraid >Assumes the worst of everyone >Asks >Respects others' intelligence >Knows nothing These are the only things that apply to me. I consider myself fairly mature though I feel stupid saying it out loud. Maturity has more to do with controlling your emotions and making smart decisions imo. I don't care for any of this other stuff.
>>26291389 Normies are the masters of ignoring factual information. Just look at what happens if you post some studies about how short men are treated poorly. They call you autistic and tell you to stop whining. Not very mature, is it?
>>26290479 They're all goats, that's what's wrong with it. I have never seen a goat ponder about life or become more mature. The artist should've just made the goats into humans, because humans are more inclined to worry about things like maturity.
>>26290479 >Assumes as little as possible How is that mature? It's naive, to say the least.
>Focuses on having friends Yeah, a very objective goal indeed. Because there's nothing more mature than having friends, right?
>Obsessed with facts This is too simpleminded. Yes, you can focus on the facts, but what's more important are the connections, the context and what makes those facts relevant in the first place.
>Respects others' intelligence This statement works in both ways, meaning that you respect intelligence, be it developed or not. You respect idiots too, which is not what a mature person should do. The goal is to enlighten everybody as much as possible, not just let them live in their comfortable fantasy world.
>Talks out problems with others Unless these problems revolve around others in some sort of way, this is completely unnecessary. Being able to independently solve issues is much more mature than having to rely on others to get it done for you (or emotional support LOL).
>Isn't afraid to fail >Knows limits Both kinda defy each other. You either know your limits and thus do not need to try things out before failing or you don't know and rely on failing over and over again before learning something new.
>Blames self for world. What?
>Obsessed with questioning Now this guy should be somewhere on the top.
>Wants to fix them AKA tries to force his ideology on others. Contradiction much?
>Assumes the worst of everyone Of course, not being naive is important. One must work to become trustworthy and reliant.
>Blames world for problems This is the first step towards making the world a better place. You locate the issue, come up with solutions and attempt to change it. How else would you do it?
>Focuses on differences I don't even understand what this means. Instead of focusing on similarities, they focus on differences, ending up with segregation and stuff like that?
