I live in Miami and it's ridiculously expensive and there's no jobs. Also good luck communicating with anyone if you don't speak fluent Spanish. No one speaks English and it's an absolute minimum requirement to be bilingual for any job

I don't live in those places. Georgia is definitely cheap from what I see on HGTV and you get to be near an interesting place like Atl if you move in one of the suburbs. I'd be wary of a beach city like Miami though. Florida isn't traditionally "southern" it's just a giant tourist attraction and probably expensive because of so much beach.

I live in Alabama about 10 miles from gulf shores. Pretty decent town I guess. A lot of traffic from tourists during the summer though
