What about Ami? Is she just alone forever?

And what about Takasu's "eyes"? Did the creators just drop that after 5 episodes? Evertone seems to accept Taiga and Takasu more, so it makes no sense for them to be any more than friends due to not being accepted. They were both accepted by both their classmates and family very shortly throughout the story.

Cry almost constantly when I'm alone.
