What are the best jobs for autistic, anti-social, introverts for robots like us?
>tfw you don't qualify for NEET bux and forced to live a wagecuck life
well some dude made fun of me when i was out on the town and i just stood there and abused him for a good 5 mins till my friend dragged me away, but if your after physical confrontation story, my brother is abusive as fuck to my parents (and was to me for most of my developing years) and is a resident manchild so i threatened him with a knife and engineered it so i got and avo against him, too this day i still cant figure out how it all panned out but it makes me giggle.
I worked at McDonalds for a while and I hated it for the most part. The fast paced environment where the managers think you are disposable and then the possiblity of you having to work up front with customers terrified me so much to that point I quit early.
I really did enjoy standing in the back doing dishes in sweet, music silence.
You're really there just to babysit inanimate objects. If you're in a good neighborhood you would not have confrontation; my college, for instance, has a few at night who do nothing but just sit around--they never have anything to confront.. Nighttime implies you're there alone, and from the stories I heard on here about typical shifts they play fucking handhelds and shit in the lobby or whatever and do walkabouts periodically, purely by themselves or with a very limited number of co-workers.
I was a dishwasher at a local buffet prior to management moving me into the janitorial staff. Both jobs were pretty cool. No one gave me any shit because I was too damn good at my work.
Security guard been working for 3 months now and I love it so far.
>work as security in an abortion clininc
>my job is to keep the christfag protesters from entering the parking lot and the building
>little to no interpretation with people
>cool uniform and gun to feel like a badass
>the pay isnt great but its above minimum wage at least so thats not bad
I always wanted to be an avant-garde pornographer. Like that guy from 8mm.
I can approve night security as a robot job. You sit around for a few hours every night, sleep during the day, and have maybe one or two actual interactions per month. Plus you can go and watch anime or esports or whatever the fuck you want during the 90% downtime.
Landscaping. It's tiring as fuck and you have no time for yourself but everyone speaks spanish so they won't bother you too much and if they do you guys will have trouble talking to each other. It's probably more of a /fit/ job because of the physicality involved but socially it's a robot job
I'm looking for jobs too anon
What I've heard so far and will look into:
-Courier services (UPS, Fedex, etc)
-Warehouse stocking (Walmart for example)
Just curious, where are you located
I work security at a federal broadcasting company and regularly have to shoe away homeless degenerates.
It's a good robot job though.
I can often find a dressing room to sleep in, or watch tv.
Only problem is that when you're in the midst of a depression, female induced or otherwise, there is nothing to occupy your mind and you're left to dwell on the pain.
Yes familia the night time security job is fucking banging.
I spend 12 hours a night a few times a week just screwing around and I get paid for it.
Totally rebuilt my confidence and people skills.
The big problem is now I've actually got money and a car it's a pain in the ass to do stuff like trying to talk to women on my days off because my sleep is so boned lol.
You're not a bouncer. You're just there to make sure nothing bad happens.
My security job consists of
>make sure things are locked
>turn out the lights that aren't being used
>occasionally check on fridges and freezers to make sure they're working
>pump oil if it's necessary
>if they stop working for whatever reason I call the engineer
>open the gate if a shipment comes in
>help the truck driver move the shipment
>plowing the snow will get you a bonus
80% of time is spent in a room to just watch the gate and do whatever I want to do alone that I don't mind people seeing.
reading/flash games/tv shows/etc. 4chan is a no go
At least your regular nights.
I'll be pulled back into overnight 12 hour shifts every few weeks and I'm always out of wack.
Best is working 7-7 three days in a row and having four days off.
But I'm 31 and don't drive.
Yes, this. I work in security too, pay is pretty good considering i do jack shit 8 of 9 hours every shift
I work lots of nights and evenings, i hardly ever meet people, i have a lot of freedom in huge office buildings wich is nice in a way i cant explain.
>Only problem is that when you're in the midst of a depression, female induced or otherwise, there is nothing to occupy your mind and you're left to dwell on the pain.
Luckily i dont have issues like these, i hate people, i am too awkward to talk to women so they dont affect me.
Absolutely, if you already have ASPD, relatively high IQ and history of torturing/killing small animals for shit and giggles.
The life expectancy is not great and you'll eventually have to kill children FYI.
I'm not religious and still think abortion is wrong. Abortion isn't a contraceptive - that's what condoms are for.
Inb4 "what about rape and incest babies." Those only male up a small percentage of abortions.
"Themost common reasonswomen considerabortionare: Birth control (contraceptive) failure. Over half of all women who have anabortionused a contraceptive method during the month they became pregnant. Inability to support or care for a child."Jun 4, 2014
I'd be willing to bet that many of those women lie about their use of contraception. Also, being "unable to support or care for the child" isn't an excuse. They should think of that before they get pregnant
Different in each country i guess.
Over here (europe, NL) it took me 2 years of low tier education after highschool wich was very easy.
Im 28 now, 9 years in security and its still the best decision i made in my shitty life.
I know for sure if i went for something higher with more ambition my social anxiety would have fucked it all up for me and i would have become a neet or worse.
I knew i needed a anti social job to survive and i found it.
im 19 and lost in life (not a school and dont have a job), i was thinking of going to the army for the minimum of 4 years and coming back to become a cop, but is being a cop better than being a security guard? which is best? American btw
Training varies depending on which country you're in. But its going to involve basic customer services, a little bit of legal and some physical stuff but I've never used most of the latter because I don't work club doors.
Jobs are the same as anything, much easier to land something if you know people. Can also be a bit seasonal if you're in a touristy place like me.
Hugely varies depending what's in your area and how far you're willing to commute.
I'm 25 and I'm not the youngest by any stretch.
>Where would you even look for the comfy places?
All security firms have shifts the colleagues with families and children and social lifes dont want. Its not hard to get the "boring" shifts.
Its only hard convincing everybody you prefer to work at night in a dark office building instead of being a doorman at a fancy diner party or something like that all colleagues want
Pretty sure cops need social skills. I dont like talking to people so for me security is best, but i dunno what you are like.
2bh cop in the US seems cool, you basicly get a free pass for violence
I don't know what a robot job is, but I know what isn't a robot job: accounting.
>Just be an accountant if you're shy, they just sit at a desk all day XD
I fell for it hook, line and sinker. I became one and it was the worst job I ever had. Phone was consistently ringing off the hook, I had to collaborate with my team consistently, I had to be in meetings with higher ups consistently, I had to answer questions from retards in different departments consistently.
>tfw you will never have a comfy white collar office job in a cramped cubicle
I have always been interested in really disgusting jobs like cleaning up murder scenes or scraping of brains of trains from suicide people.
Not that i would enjoy it, but i just assume it pays really good and i just dont give a fuck what im touching if the money is good.
No idea how to find a job like that tho
>Tho you might have to deal with banter
Never dealt with that here as a temp in the US. Which was all my warehouse jobs.
Work is pretty much constant, not much time to work in general.
Do they have high turnover rate though? I don't think I've ever seen postings for libraries unless they're for experienced positions/ones that need a relevant degree or something
You basically make your own schedule. Paid by the day. Never have to be in the same place twice if you don't want to. I'm paid to babysit kids, which at the high school level means sitting at a desk reading books and browsing 4chan on my phone after I pass out whatever worksheet their teacher left for the kids to complete. That is it. At first I was worried about the idea of dealing with kids, but most high schoolers are so busy on their phones that even if they don't do their assignments, you never have to worry about them killing each other unless you live in Detroit or something.
It's seriously comfy as fuck. Last week I got paid to watch Gundam.
I've seen plenty of awkward ass women hiding their faces camwhoring, and you can always start selling clips too. admin assistant would be easiest if you didn't have to do calls and shit
If you're not a lardass/weakling I'd recommend a traffic controllers ticket.
You fucking stand for 8 hours at a time holding a sign that says "SLOW" or "STOP" for at least $28/h. Even more if you do night works, more like $35/h
tfw aussie robot
Why do people hate it so much?
I'd love to have a comfy mundane job where there isn't enough to do, just try and take every assignment as a test for how quickly and well I could do it- and in freetime at the office I'd teach myself italian and attempt to flirt with the office half-stacy
Therapy is quite comfy of a profession tbqh familia
First, this: >>26239759
>They should think of that before they get pregnant
Yeah but they don't, and retards like that will always be around so it's better to give them the option to abort during pregnancy:
- in the miraculous event horribly trashy habits (drinking, smoking, eating shit) and bad genetics don't rob the future kid of any chance, he still would face impossible odds with the kind of people we're talking about (no money management, no education, can't care for the kids etc) or with the social services they might end up in.
- it saves society as a whole a fuckton of money in the long run: useless education costs for people who are already a lost cause, drug fighting, crime fighting, health care etc.
- also protection fails sometimes, not often but it does happen and everyone should be able to decide what to do with their bodies and have access to health care for it, which includes abortion.
I work in a warehouse. If you don't mind manual labor it isn't too bad. You usually get the run down at the start of the day and then do your thing for the rest of it. Sometimes you have to interact with co-workers but it beats interacting with random customers.
Eventually I got to operate some of the other machinery so it can be fun.
If you have a Cumberland Farms near you I highly recommend checking it out. Some of them are pretty nice. Pay's decent and I spend most of my shift talking about anime or video games with a failed normie and genuine robot. Each of them has about a B+ taste.
You don't do classes related to your major the entire time you go to college, they force you to take a lot of extracurricular classes to keep you "well rounded." It's the reason I dropped out and I was a Chemistry major. Hated having to interact with normal people.
Entry-level jobs, I worked them all
Avoid at all costs, too much human contact, you will forced to stay on your feet throughout the whole shift and do something retarded even if there're no customes
God tier if its nightshift, shit-tier if its day time, your boss will get really butthurt if you aren't acting like SWAT operative and sizing up every person passing by. Also depending on your country, you might need to pass some exams and qualifications. Also, manlets don't get hired, womanlets do though, for some reason.
Usually a chill job if you stack more and unload trucks less. Unloading trucks will fuck your back, it sure did mine.
Again, go for nightshifts for maximum chill
STEER-FUCKING-CLEAR. Job is pure human contact at high speed, and usually with the most retarded people possible. Your ears will be clanging and your mind will be full of fuck. Better unload the trucks.
Okay-tier, you get to be alone all day long, and not rot in a shitty office. On the downside it usually pays like shit and your parents will consider you a failure at life
>Data Entry operator
Very draining but eventually gets bearable once you get good enough to do that shit on auto-pilot. Very dependant on your boss, if he's a bro he'll allow you to listen music/audiobooks and sip coffee, but 99% of bosses are cunts so don't get your hopes up
About the same as retail minus shelf-stacking. You get paid slightly more, high standards of appearance though so make sure to groom your disgusting self before the interview
I find that really fucking hard to believe.
I work IT for a small company, it's my first job so I guess it counts as entry level? I'm by myself in a basement, barely ever talk to anyone and can do whatever I want on the computer all day and people just assume I'm working my ass off when really I'm playing wow or watching netflix.
What was that like? This is the only type of job on that list that you can pretty much just walk in and get an interview as opposed to the other options where you would have to call in and apply which pretty much automatically bars me from entry.
>tfw work at home freelancer
>don't even have to leave my room during weekdays
>my only interaction with my employer is a skype text chat once every two weeks
i should feel really grateful for the comfyness of my professional life, 2bh
HOW DO I GET INTO IT.
Everytime you IT fucks post it sounds like the promised land. I know two people that are also in IT and they more or less just fuck around all day as well.
>Also you can fuck dead stacies if that's your thing.
That's not illegal or anything? Couldn't you get fired or something?
>Been neet for 4 years
>Now opened a bar with my family
It's honestly boring as fuck, it's easy as shit and outside of a specific time there's nothing to do 9 hours on 12, at the end of the month I'll just buy a laptop and play vidya.
all jobs require good social connection
even if you work with just your boss he gotta like you, otherwise he is just gonna find someone else that he likes
yes people are that stupid but there are plenty of shit you can do from home just do instead of contemplating
I think i'm one of the very few robots who can safely say that i don't need to work, as i have a 2mln trust fund which gives me 80k of interests each year.
6k each month, basically.
>then why are you there
Money doesn't make you happy.
Sure, you can buy everything and live in a mansion.
But the void beckons.
graphics design,3d modeling,animation,concept art,retailer,stocks,craftsman,carpeting,pro burglar,web development etc etc.
most of these aren't even enough to get by your own they are usually things that grow over time until you can do them full time
>HOW DO I GET INTO IT
Study at a school specialised for IT.
Or you can always learn from home, get a couple of courses done and be a really great programmer. But don't think it's easy. Just because you can code a simple C calculator or some shit doesn't mean anything. You need to spend 1000+ hours programming, then after you are finally hired you can fuck around however you want.
Source: Studied IT and working in the IT division for a logistics company.
No, anon, no.
You have no idea.
A golden palace filled to the brim with all the lavish objects and amusements a man can dream of is shallow and cold.
You start to realize it.
Expensive, extremely tasty foods turn to ash in your mouth.
Godlike drinks, wines and gold-sprinkled-water doesn't seem to end your thirst.
And every little joy that you have becomes meaningless, pointless.
There is nothing, but the cold abyss.
I'm content with my current life. If I could add assured financial stability to it I'd be happy as fuck. Your life lacks a lot of problems that loom over peoples heads for their entire lives.
How hard is it to get a custodian job?
>my parents are starting to get even more angry everyday
>taking all my shit away
>threatening to sell all of my stuff
>demanding $500/mo even though they know damn well that I can't pay it at all
>calling the cops to "find a program to put me in"
>threatening to put me into therapy
>880 dollars to my name
What the fuck do I do?
This for sure. In addition
>Overnight stocking/backroom retail
You will 100% have to be related to someone to have a chance in a library. There's a reason you never see postings. No one wants to leave an easy, quiet job.
They are just really pissed off at me for continuing to do nothing and not going anywhere
The problem is I have no car, no money to get one, no experience to get the damn job and even if I did I really don't know if I could afford to live on my own let alone take care of myself.
literally it's just know windows well enough to reset a password or update java over a telephone call, I have a few certificates but everything I need to know for the job I learned when I was like 8 playing around with computers. If you have ever run your own game server and can troubleshoot most common computer issues or google the ones you can't then you are golden.
There is security guards at the retail job I work at, pretty much they are only there so shoplifters might just go to an easier store instead and to make people feel better about shopping late at night.
In all reality they can't do a fucking thing, and their job is to pretty much just dial 911.
Anyways I just stock shelves and it's a pretty robot job. Other than dumb customers asking where stuff is, which is easy to fake smile and go through, I pretty much interact with noone.
depends on your country's law and company policy
in convict island you are technically allowed to make a citizens arrest and use reasonable force to make sure they remain while police come asap but most companies don't want you taking the risk.
Trust me, NEETbux suck. More I calculate it, the more I realize I won't be able to survive after my mother dies. Like, I could survive, just not with the Internet.. which isn't really surviving. Unless I do a little manoeuvre fasting and some produce growing. Guess it's better than getting cucked by a Jew.
>they had someone else before me
>they have to make a phone call before the interview
>the person I'm siting near is another person that's supposed to be getting interviewed and they got there before me
If you can find a sweet office job with 0 customer client service and just mostly emails and data entry with the occasional out call, thats the best.
I had a job like this for 8 months but they let me go in the end because I was no longer needed.
Electrical or software engineer. 90% of your coworkers are foreigners who only talk to people of their own ethnicity. 90% of communication is done via email so you don't have to know how to talk to people. And the money is good. All you have to be is smart.
Hey this thread is still up.
>not shitposting from work
Well, it is true I would like to have my own sports talk radio show, but that's not gonna happen for any number of reasons.
Firewatches sit around at construction sites making sure welders don't catch stuff on fire. All they do is sign papers and look at stuff. They are usually employed by contractors, and get paid around $10- $15, or more if they're with a union. The training only takes a few days, and the required equipment is only a fire extinguisher, an air horn, a safety vest.
EZ to answer OP.
I have alot of friends who are cyborgs or robots.
Some of the jobs they have are:
>Truck driving (1A here in canada)
>Heavy equipment operator
>Duct cleaning/Snow removal
Electricians, welders, and pipefitting still have to deal with people, but alot less than some jobs.
And it's not about being social, it's about being competent. As long as you're halfway decent at your job and don't make work for other people you won't have to worry about people thinking you're weird.
People are more concerned with getting things started and finished.
>Overnight stock at a grocery store.
Minimal interaction, usually let you listen to music the entire shift, occasionally might have to do a self check out overwatch position for a day.
Sit at a computer all day and type away information into a graphing program.
I worked at amazon for this and it pays 17.50 hourly. Barely run into people, and its pretty remedial and easy to do. Issue is that you need to be able to lift 50 pounds and sometimes traverse stair cases with that weight, its 40 hours mandatory with overtime if they want you to, and you need to go through all this security point check ups to enter the warehouse and validate yourself.
My current career. You don't have to fuck with people you don't want to, and theres a million ways to go about marketing yourself. You pick your hours, never have to fuck with anybody, and get all the free-time in the world if you want it. Take a basic skill or hobby and see if you can flip it into a product/service. The only downside is starting out because of legal fees to copyright/patent/trademark your works.
A small group is absolutely manageable for introverts, though.
Working in a pair especially.
The welding IS more of a team effort, it would be more of a cyborg or normie job, but also manageable if you have even a whisper of social skills.
>worked at amazon
Please explain how and where you got your job
Strangely Amazon warehouse is my dream job. Being able to do relatively easy work at a company I really like sounds great.
Where did you find there was a vacancy? Where did you apply? Did you have "previous" experience that they were looking for?
I applied online, just walked in when they called me back to confirm my application being eligible, and did the interview since they don't do scheduled appointments. NJ has a amazon warehouse in Robbinsville, infact, every state should at-least have three spread out. Just a matter of where.
The walking can be tedious, fair warning. They had a quota for 10 miles a day early at my time there, but, they fucked off with it after awhile.
I found out and applied over snagajob. My only certifications was that I had a highschool diploma. They like people under 30 working there.
Its super easy to apply for and land.
