Not OP, but when you get a cyst or other nasty junk under your skin, some people's instincts go fucking crazy and they need to get it out.

I ended up in urgent care once for a cyst on my back - not because of the cyst, but because I dislocated my shoulder twisting around to get at it.

Got the fucker out doing it though. Worth it.

I'd need to know more, but maybe you had a swollen/irritated lymph node. I used to get them at the base of my skull. I did stab one once, clear yellowy fluid tinged with blood came out. I had a nasty time waiting for it to heal, and I think it 'died' - it never came back.

If it's a lymph node you're probably not going to die but I would still see a doctor if you can afford it for some antibiotics, and an opinion on why your nodes were bothering you.
